Un nuevo sonido radial desde Matanzas: "La voz de la Victoria"

Matanzas, 19 abril - La inauguraci?n de la emisora municipal "La
voz de la victoria" se uni? a las cien obras nuevas o remodeladas que se
ejecutaron en el municipio Ci?naga de Zapata, al sur de Matanzas, para celebrar
el aniversario 47 de la gesta de abril de 1961.
"La radio cubana se engrandece con esta bella emisora en Playa
Larga, lugar que irradia patriotismo y victoria", expres? en las palabras de
apertura de esta instalaci?n Guillermo Pav?n Pacheco, vicepresidente de la
Radio en el Instituto Cubano de Radio y Televisi?n.
Sentenci? que este es un acontecimiento cultural y pol?tico que
sirve de reconocimiento a quienes dieron su sangre por el socialismo. "Es un
homenaje a los combatientes que hicieron morder el polvo de la derrota al
imperio brutal que nos desprecia".
Refiri? que actualmente unas 20 emisoras contrarrevolucionarias
transmiten m?s de 1 800 horas diarias contra la obra de la Revoluci?n; de ah?
la importancia de esta nueva emisora que desde su trinchera defender? la verdad
de Cuba.
Ubicada en la localidad de Calet?n, e identificada como CMDY, con
una hora inicial de transmisi?n diariamente, emitir? revistas de diverso g?nero
y espacios informativos, con una tecnolog?a de avanzada. El tema de
presentaci?n cuenta con la Canci?n de la victoria, en la voz de la emblem?tica
artista Sara Gonz?lez, con arreglo de Ra?l Vald?s.
CMDY "La voz de la victoria" transmitir? con una potencia de 250 W
en la frecuencia de los 99.5 FM para Playa Larga y los poblados vecinos, cuyos
habitantes este 19 de abril abarrotaron la sede del Conjunto Art?stico
Comunitario Korimacao, para presenciar el espect?culo ?Gracias, Fidel!, que
cont? con la direcci?n art?stica del prestigioso actor Manuel Porto.

Warm greetings to all of you !
While looking for Ecuador on 540, with the November 2004's Barry McLarnon
Ottawan reception in mind (although I'm silly to look after such stuff, as
Sotuh Americans are almost inexistent, even RCR-750 is unimpressive), I came
accross an interesting Spanish station giving a load of phone numbers and IDing
as Radio Cadena La Voz de la Victoria with live announcers... Is it a domestic
or a Latin America ? Is it a new slogan for Ecuador ? Also, I'm VERY happy
because it is not // any local spur from a multilingustic station such as 1280
or 1450 (mainly in arabic, but some spurs form it are picked up on a Venturer
clock radio with it's BROKEN ferrite bar antenne, ao who knows)... It is
clearly DX ! Seems like 540 is an interesting channel to watch out for those of
you, like me, chassing South American DX from eastern North America...
Any thoughts on "this weird bird" ?

Seems like there is nothing to do with Cuba, as they just announced "el
nacimiento de nuestro Se?or" after a Spanish redindition of a classic
international Xmas tune.
Most likely a new slogan for the Radio Autentica in Bogota (I fortgot the
call-letters; HJKA ?) as Radio Autentica is religious just like Cadena La Voz
de la Victoria.

Russia, 9435, Voice of Russia or Rossii, Tent, 0930-1040 Noted a program of
Russian comments from individuals. Heard an ID in Russian which I missed.
I wasn't recording at the time and am typing this from my recollection. At
0945 possibly a long discourse from the Russian President. After the hour
news and conversation between females. Signal stayed at poor level. This
broadcast isn't listed in any of my references during the 0900 to 1100
hours. There's other broadcasts earlier and later however. (Chuck
