Hello Bruce
4915 BRAZIL? 01/06/09 0810 Exquisite hetrodyne knocking in the door as
two presumed Brazilians clash -- R. Die de Macapa in Macapa and R. Anhanguera
in Goiania. One of them rose above the whistle but not well enough to get an
ID. Maybe one of our Brazilian friends on the list can help out. (Barker-PA)
It should be Macap? station but i'll check it later.
Today, Jan.-07, R. Difusora de Macap? was on from 0652 when i checked for the
first time with music, when at 0800 signed on R. Anhanguera, strong, wich
bloked to me Macap?. R. Anhanguera started with a religious program "Luz nas
trevas", soft religious talks on music, not like that excited preachers. So,
you should check before 0800 to know who was dominant to you.

A new version of medium wave radio stations list in Brazil (edited by the Dx
Clube do Brasil), is online, both html and pdf. Dozens of updates, with many
splitted frequencies.

Thanks to the TP DX experience of Nick Hall-Patch and the Korean language
fluency of Bill Harms, my 603 kHz station at 1500 UTC on Dec. 29th has been
positively identified as KBS2 Korea, not Japan.
Bill says: "In the 1500 clip you have a definite ID by the female
announcer. "KBS je-i Radio imnida" or KBS radio two in English. Then right
before the sounder and the tips, she gave a time check for midnight."
Thanks Nick & Bill for your help.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone received a verification from the Voice of
Africa out of Libya? If so, what address did you use?
Thanks.

tax attaching under the appropriate Acts is less than it otherwise
would be. If he succeeds in ordering them as to achieve that result,
then so as to secure that result, then however unappreciative the
Commissioners of the Inland Revenue or his fellow taxpayers may be of
his ingenuity, he cannot be compelled to pay an increased tax."
