Dear Radio Damascus friends
One of the shortwave transmitters of Radio Damascus, operating on 12085 khz,
has been experiencing technical problems since last week.
The chief engineer at the Adra transmitter site decided to take the transmitter
from the air for extensive maintenance and repair work.
The maintenance and repair work will take approximately a week. They are
working hard to bring the transmitter back in the air as soon as possible.
The second transmitter, operating on 9330 khz, is functioning as normal.
Please tune in on 9330 khz to listen to Radio Damascus. I will let you know
when the second transmitter at 12085 khz will be back on air.
