from WYFR of course. (24 March)

INDIA 6055 AIR Khampur (pres.) 2246-2254 Nonstop Hindi vcl mx. Think there
was just an OC 2 min. earlier when I tuned through. Wiped out by huge signal
of R. Exterior de Espana sudden s/on at 2254. (24 March)

MONGOLIA 12085 V.O. Mongolia Could hear the IS at 0929, 0959, and 1029,

1104. Played songs "Endless Summer Nights" by Richard Marx, and "It's So
Easy", and "Hurt So Good" by John Mellancamp. 1155 M anncr give closing

 (1 April)

MYANMAR?? 5985.88 R. Myanma?? All I could get was a carrier here at 1156.
There was entirely too much slop-over QRM from 5980. (1 April)

MALAYSIA 5964.71 Klasik Nasional (pres.) 1157 wisps of mx. W anncr at 1202

BRAZIL 6059.9 Super R. Deus e Amor Usual moaning preacher in PT 0912. Was
//9593.65 and 6120 but that is supposed to be R. Globo. Does Globo relay this
rel. pgm?? (2 April)

UNID. 7324.96 Wantok?? Only a weak distorted carrier at 0917 and not

Rooster at 0921. 0922 sev. people in the studio w/occas. laughing. 0929 more
tlking w/ment of Brasilia. 0931 finally jingle then complete ID by M. Seemed
to mention 2 freqs. Fair strength but too much QRM from apparently R. Rossii

Pretty nice signal and clear. Guess the power was staying on late this night.
(2 April)

MALAYSIA 5964.71 Klasik Nasional Nx in apparent Malay by W to 1110,
//9835. 6049.63 was not // as John Wilkins noted also. At 1110, this broke
away and went into Pop mx bridge followed by W anncr briefly, and then Koran.
Much better signal than yesterday. Thanks John's log. (2 April)

MALAYSIA 9835 R. Television Malaysia Koran at 1051 check. Nx after 1100.
Koran again at recheck at 1156. Fair signal. Started getting more QRM after

1148. More of the same over ToH. 1201 very short canned anmnt in echo by M
w/Rock-like instru. mx followed by W w/an "Asyik FM" ID and M wailing briefly
as like the Koran recitation. Tuned out at this point. Tnx to Ron Howard's
help confirming ID. (2 April)

UNID. QTH 15745 FEBA 0048-0055 M tlk in Indian lang. (Hindi??) w/many
"Amen's". 0055 Indian choral mx. 0057 M anncr, then choral singing "Amen" and
rel. song. 0058 M again w/ment of radio. W anncr briefly, FEBA IS once and
deadair then off at 0100. No listing for FEBA here on their web site, but is
listed in Hindi 0045-0100 on 7485. (3 April)

INDIA 9870 AIR Vividh Bharati service 0105-0115 almost nonstop Hindi mx

for another stn equal strength. (3 April)

MALAYSIA 5030.02 R. Television Malaysia, Kuching 1051-1120, mx pgm w/W
host. Nx at ToH. Was //9835 the entire time. This freq hammered by 5025
Cuba. Only audible when Cuba was having tlk before abt 1110. After 1110, Cuba
began to fade and RTM was doing much better as it was peaking. (3 April)

THAILAND 7260 R. Thailand End of pgm w/Big Ben chimes, M in EG w/sked when
the previous pgm could be hrd again, chimes cut off and off the air. Nice
strong signal. CH stn hrd here when Thailand went off, no doubt CRI. (3 April)

MYANMAR 7200.1 R. Myanma (pres.) Tlk by M at 1149 then instru. mx and soft
MOR vcl songs. 1155 W pgm host to 1157. 1157 more mx w/M and W vcls over ToH.
1202 W host again, then back to mx at 1204. Nothing special over ToH, which
makes sense since it would be the BoH in Myanmar. Strength and modulation
wasn't too bad, but there was some Ham QRM. Will have to check this out
earlier as it was fading when I tuned in. Tnx Ron Howard tip. (3 April)

All for now.
