Wastes 300 kW with all that open carriering. Then 11800, Aug 24 at 0534, S9+22 open carrier with flutter, atop a much weaker station which was modulating, heard BBC mentioned. This must be another case of R. Bulgaria, but here wasting only 170 kW from Plovdiv, prior to the Spanish broadcast at 0600, and covering up BBC Hausa, 250 kW, 160 degrees from Woofferton at 0530-0600. At first I thought it was one station just barely modulated, but became obvious it was a big carrier atop a different station, since when the carrier faded in strongest, the modulation was suppressed, and when it faded down, the audio loudened. Cleburne is S of Fort Worth on I-35W, while Burleson is halfway to Fort Worth from there. Studio and postal addresses are in Cleburne. This was atop our OK 1460, KZUE El Reno in Spanish. Reno is also pronounced with a long E in English, and I suspect even in Spanish the pressure is heavy to do so, if I could ever catch an ID. Now how do you pronounce Burleson?
