in news 

presentation until 1034.  At that time a quick ID by a male followed by
music with

brief Sp comments between tunes. "... Radio Santa Cruz ...:"  Signal was

Peru, 4809.995, Radio Logos, 1007-1030, At tune in, noted steady Spanish
music.

Best heard using USB mode with the usual QRM on the upper side of the
signal.  

Music continues during the period while the signal remains at a fair level
with

Peru, 4774.951, Radio Tarma, 1014-1030,  Noted steady music with ID and
comments between tunes by a male.  ".... Radio Tarma ...".  Immediately back
to

Brazil, 4755.56,Radio Imaculada Conceicao, Tentative, 1025-1035,  Noted a
male in  Portuguese language comments which was followed with music.  Signal
was weak and faded in and out to nothing during the period.   No ID was

Indonesia, 4749.976, RRI Makassar, Tentative, 1028-1045, Noted music at tune
in.  Music continues during the period while the signal fades from threshold
to nil.  Believe I heard a female in comments here and there during the
period.  Overall the signal was threshold.   (Chuck Bolland, March 11, 2014)

 

China, 4940.00, Voice of Strait, Presumed, 1109-1130, Noted a male in
Chinese Language comments which were probably news items.  At 1112 a canned
segment by a female for less than a minute, accompanied with music, then
back to comments by the male announcer.  Signal stayed at a fair level

China, 5924.915, China National Radio 5. 1128-1145, Noted a weak signal here
with partisans' commenting in Chinese language.  On the half hour a 

female gives ID in Chinese.  Could only recognize the word "national" as

part of the ID.  However, on the frequency of 9410 KHz a parallel broadcast 

was being presented with a good signal.  Here and there, some music was
heard between spoken segments on the 5924.915 KHz broadcast.  Signal was

poor on 5924.915 KHz.  (Chuck Bolland, March 11, 2014)

 

China, 5945.00, China National Radio 1, 1145-1155, Noted various individuals
commenting in Chinese language.  Signal was fair at times.

A parallel broadcast was heard on 6125.00 KHz with a good signal helping 

in identifying the station on 5945.00 KHz.  (Chuck Bolland, March 11, 2014)

 

China 5955.043, China Radio International, 1152-1200,  Noted a program in
English language with a number of ID's of China Radio International in
English by a male and female.  The Signal was fair to good during the
period.

 Malaysia, 5965.00,  RTM, Kajang, 1158-1230, Noted some chatter before the
hour, but at top of the hour quick theme music and ID, followed by news
presented by a male and female.  Many, many mentions of Malaysia during the
news.  At 1215 the news finished and general programming followed with music
and comments.   Signal was good during the entire period.  (Chuck Bolland,

Japan, 6055.00 Radio Nikkei 1, 1237-1300,  At tune in, noted a male and
female discussing a problem with the enter net in Japanese language.  This
format continues during the listening period and onward.   Signal strength
and quality changed from a good level to a poor level as the time shifted. 

The signal ended up as poor by 1300.   (Chuck Bolland, March 11, 2014)
