15120 Terrible mixture of ARS BSKSA Riyadh ahead in Bengali, as well as
Voice of Nigeria in English, noted both together at 1033 UT Jan 27, at
S=9+15dB level in southern Germany, Austria, Hungary and Zakynthos Greece
remote SDR units. VoNIG identification at 1034 UT. Followed by a lot of
'joyful' light West African music singer.

Further away of Riyadh's backlobe azimuth signal in southern Europe,
i.e. in Twente Holland in northern Europe, the Nigeria signal dominates of Riyadh Bengali sce underneath.

In Münster, North-West Germany, and Twente SDR Voice of Nigeria is clearly
dominating over Saudi-Arabia, strong signal, so likely European beam, and a
whining noise on the audio which is otherwise very strong.

btw. - I wonder if they really produced all the scheduled daytime
programming without airing it at all over months, or if they in fact did
broadcast and we didn't notice. How likely is it that nobody noticed and
reported to the usual DX channels for months, if they broadcast regularly on
7255 1000-1600? Actually it should have been audible at least in southern
Europe in winter. But actually I didn't check more than once or twice at the
supposedly most likely time before 1600 ... even forgetting that when
checking 9690 which I regularly did, but at 1100 or 1300 usually... And are
there any other outlets of VON we probably never noticed? Satellite? FM?
Never ever heard about it.

     Nice catch!
The french bit from 1445-1500 was part of the last known Lagos
schedule (1000-1600), aired before on even frequency 9690, and likely via
the old IKO unit. Last heard it there on Sept. 19 (or tent. 20), after a
break since June. Not much later also the livestream disappeared. I'm not so
much surprised that this one re-appeared, after hearing a transmission of
various test tones (100hz-5kHz and various odd ones in-between) on Jan 12.
on 15120, 0750+, which I suspected to be IKO. Watching the test tones on the
famous dutch waterfall, it appeared that they were not really "clear" ones:
so when 1Khz was aired, also a "spur" of 2Khz was aired, and similar
oddities, so they did sound somewhat "dirty", as should be expected from
this transmitter.
