latter on path towards Arkansas and Oklahoma,
by
11855 kHz ROU RRI Tiganesti in Chinese language covers
adjacent 11860 kHz totally with S=9+40dB signal on northern path.

I checked the grayline path at 1330-1430 on Perseus maps remote list,
noted 11860 still at S=3-4 in Vancouver, Alberta, Detroit-MI,
FL and MA-US stations.

QUESTION:
But in direction of OK-USA and MI-USA the parallel grayline / daylight path
is visible on direction via Antarctis area for these two hours:

at Jeddah, Red Sea, Yemen, Somalia, South Indian Ocean, McMurdo Antarctis,
Pitcairn Isl, Bacha California Mexico, Texas, path into Enid ???

So, only a small RECEIVING strip in TX, OK, AR, KS etc. will hear
powerful signals from Jeddah, via the southern long path via Antarctic.

raj3636,
never heard such BACKLOBE signals up to now -

"like Glenn mentioned, as S9+10 to S9+20 signal "

never came such signals across the Russia, Moscow / St.P., Finland,
Scandinavia, Iceland, Greenland, Canada path,
and their remote SW receiver installations,
but often heard at same time very strong powerful
"500 kW curtains array beasts" from BSKSA Riyadh broadcasts in Europe
instead.

I would rather think that signal came around the world
via Antarctica path towards Latin America and northwards to Oklahoma.

- or even originata from Arnies broadcast center either ? ha, ha, ha

I'm actually 'speechless', over the use of the transmitter of Radio Sana'a
towards the big distance direction much western USA like Rocky Mountains,
in this matter.

Greetings!

I've attached a Azimuthical Map based on Riyadh. An antenna that Wolfgang
suggests aimed at Yemen has a healthy backside lobe that might put a good
signal to N.A. over the pole (but I'd guess that power would have to be
substantially more than 50kW to get the signals we're hearing).

I have also been intrigued with Bill's suggestion that it might be coming
from Iran. Does anyone know anyone who knows Arabic that we could send
recordings so we could see if the content of broadcasts are Pro-Shia or
Pro-Sunni? Have established for a fact that it's Pro-Sunni coming from
Saudi Arabia?

If it`s so lo-gain and so lo-power, howcum it puts an S9+10 to S9+20

I guess the Saudi Arabia - Radio Sana'a-exile-radio
antenna is of 8dB horizontal-log periodical type one,
never a Saudi curtain 500 kW beast of 19 to 21 dB gain.
