Natural pauses between sentences in the narration have been edited out, making this sound more urgent(? and phony). Mainly about Fleetwood Mac, personnel changes and conflicts thru the years. Outro as `Spotlight` with Johnny Hutong(?), part 3 of 4; 1317 on to part 4. Of course, it`s only CRI, // 9730, so why don`t they deal with China, where I understand there is a lot going on? No QRM at all on 9870, where I was hoping to hear the Vividh Bharati Service of All India Radio. 9870 AIR is ``temporarily off the air`` per http://qsl.net/vu2jos/sw/freq.htm --- the best source for current AIR info. VBS had been scheduled on 9870, 500 kW, 35 degrees from Bengaluru at 0025-0440, 0900-1200, 1245-1740, but CRI has always collided with it, now with English at 13-16, 500 kW, 200 degrees from Xi`an (powers and azimuths from HFCC). NNE from BGL and SSW from XIA means the signals would literally collide somewhere over the Himalayas if both were on, so AIR might as well turn itself off at least during these two sesquihours. It`s a 100 kW Iba transmitter aimed due west. The jammer is always there, so this time I investigate it further: a carrier 1 kHz offset, and modulated with the whoop-whoop, variable pitch tones, rather than the carrier itself being moved back and forth. Tuning LSB just about eliminates it so I hope the Hill Tribes being proselytized have R75s or the like with such capability. As for the FEBC modulation, it almost sounds like English intonation, but cannot understand anything --- maybe a heavy English accent on Bru, as there`s a very good chance American missionaries are responsible for this attempt at cultural genocide. BTW, KNLS in Chinese is also registered on 9920 at 1300-1400, but no sign of it or ChiCom jamming; wooden.
