Subject: [HCDX] Glenn Hauser logs June 27-28, 2016

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8
** ALASKA. 11765, June 28 at 1450, choral gospel music, S9+10 with splash from
11760 RHC. HFCC shows English hours at 14-15 on 11765 both from CRI via Urumqi
and from KNLS Anchor Point, but I assume the latter (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)
** ALBANIA. 9854.972, June 28 at *0120, R. Tirana comes on, still with big
humroar atop interval signal; 0140 check, program audio is so buried it`s
unreadable. Radio Tirana desperately needs to do something about this; there is
no point in continuing to transmit until this defect be repaired. I`m sure a
few relays via e.g. German or US transmitters could be arranged at not much
cost for a national broadcaster (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** COLOMBIA [and non]. 6010+, June 28 at 0127, two very weak signals very close
together, and both slightly on the hi side, presumed The Voice of Thy
Conscience, and Brasil`s R?dio Inconfid?ncia (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING
DIGEST)
** CUBA. 6000, June 28 at 0612, RHC English modulation is suptorted, while on
// 6165 it`s merely undermodulated. Wiggle that patchcord! (Glenn Hauser, OK,
DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** KOREA NORTH [non]. 9900, June 27 at 1335, Japanese talk and music, fair
S5-S9. Aoki says Furusato no Kaze at 1330-1400 via Paochung, TAIWAN (Glenn
Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** KOREA SOUTH. 12923-CW, June 28 at 1310, CQ marker DE HLW2, with QSX info,
weak and hard to copy, but tnx for all the repetitions.
12916.5-CW, June 28 at 1315, similar CQ marker DE HLF, even weaker. Both these
are Soul Radio, per Klingenfuss (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** OKLAHOMA. 1640, June 27 at 1921 UT check, KZLS Enid/OKC is still OFF. Also
still off at 1618 June 28 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** OKLAHOMA. 13550, June 27 at 1914, suspicious JBA carrier on the R75, so I
subtract 1390 from it and get: 12160: ergo, external mixing product between
local KCRC and WWCR. (I don`t really expect this item to be republished, but my
log includes local items I need to keep track of. However, it could also serve
as an example of what others should be on the lookout for in their own
circumstances.) (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** SAIPAN [non?]. 13790.048, June 28 at 0608, JBA signal with talk. Aoki & HFCC
show it`s only RFA in Chinese via Agignan Point at 03-07, jammed. But it`s
unusual for either one to be so far off-frequency (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)
** U S A [non]. 11700, June 28 at 0114, M&W in SW Asian language, S6. It`s
Deewa Radio in Pashto, which had been via SRI LANKA until closed down; now via
THAILAND (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 1831 monitoring: confirmed Monday June 27 at 2330 on
WBCQ, 9329.897-CUSB, fair. Next:
Tue 2130 WRMI 15770 to NE
Tue 2330 WBCQ 9330v-CUSB to WSW
Wed 1315.5 WRMI 9955 to SSE
Wed 2100 WBCQ 7490v to WSW
Wed 2330 WBCQ 9330v-CUSB to WSW
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** U S A. 9955, June 28 at 1340, the two `Ask WWCR` guys are discussing the
NASB meeting in Nashville, cut off with no outro at 1344:30 for WRMI ID and
1345 into FG Radio. Tue 1330-1345 block is supposed to be `Viva Miami`,
apparently ceded to WWCR for this report (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING
DIGEST)
** U S A. 12105, June 27 at 1921, WTWW-3 is still off. I think it has not been
on at all for a few days now. Maybe finally wore out all the redundant
playbacks of Bibling Worldwide? Nominal span had been 17-02 UT (Glenn Hauser,
OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** U S A. 5050, June 28 at 0105, WWRB is on despite this being a Monday
night/UT Tuesday, rather than previous weekend-only schedule. S9+10 signal with
gospel huxter wrapping up by giving phone 304-679-3615, which is in West
Virginia. Then WWRB canned ID giving its phone 931-728-6087; running late,
starting another g.h. at odd time of 0106, hum and awful webfeed audio with
artifacts at first, but then clears up somewhat. Mentions live broadcast on
Monday June 23[?] of ``Heart & Soul of America Worldwide Broadcast`` with Mark
[Marc?] Anthony on WWRB, 5050. But then says is heard Saturday and Sunday
nights at 9 pm ET, 8 pm CST [sic], but on live feed right now [really?].
Address P O Box 103, Centreville /spelt/, VA 20122, USA;
[email protected] ``all in lower case`` --- axually e-mail addresses are
not case-sensitive, don`t you know, but why ever bother to capitalize them? Or
is it [email protected] or antony --- Still going past 0139 so his show
must be more than
a semihour. A program by the same title used to be on WBCQ, but no linx
there, dead end (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

Caught Radio Sakha (p) Yakutia Republic Russia at 1225 UTC 7295 kHz June 28
with Russian music and talk by female announcer between songs. 1359:55 UTC
one off IS and 1 time pip before transmitter abrupt off at 1300 UTC. Good
// 7345 kHz just detectable under others. (Delmage, AB)
