Just a short reminder of our regular weekly brodcasts on Wednesdays. Marconi
Radio International will once again be on air tomorrow ?3 August 2016, as

2000-2100 UTC on 7700 kHz (USB Mode).

Our broadcasts include some kind of programmes now sadly missing from most
shortwave radio stations: ?an old style DX show in English ?Italian Short Wave
Panorama? ?and Italian "Panorama Onde Corte", both with lot of recent logs, as
well as ?a mailbag programme in Italian. Our ?station identification
announcements are not only in English and Italian but also in French, German,
Japanese, Spanish and Catalan.

overmodulated it is. Conveniently, WEWN is missing, as it puts out its own
spurs close to 11870. That`s 94.5 kHz above 11780, so look for it 94.5 kHz
below: yes, there is a match around 11685.5, at S5. These wanderers have
also been echoing on doubles, so next look for those, should be at
plus/minus 189 kHz = 11969 & 11591 ? maybe on the higher one, but really

BRAZIL. 11815, August 2 at S2, weak music from presumed R Brasil Central,
but the off-frequency privates circa 11935, 11925 and 11855 are all unheard.

for 2 x 93 second-order blobs around 11594 and 11966 but don`t hear those.
Brazilian DXers in the radioescutas yg have finally taken note of my frequent
logs of spurs from 11780 and 6180, and Rudolf Grimm asserts that he does not
hear any. Up here you can`t help but notice them in routine bandscanning.

or -53dBm signal at 2359 UT, announcement at 0000 UT noticias. Yes two 9 kHz

degrees from Jinhua site aims it close to USward, only intended for Japan &

** CUBA. 6000, August 2 at 0611, this RHC English frequency is OFF, and so is
5040, but still on are 6060, 6100, 6165.
6000, August 3 at 0122, RHC English is barely modulated, this time softer than

** GREECE. 9420, August 3 at 0052, open carrier/dead air from ERA, which is
