ETHIOPIA is back on their very odd and always 'wandering' TX unit in 41 mb
at 1602 UT on Dec 21 on 7236.068 ... wandered up to 7236.087 kHz
within 3 minutes time.
S=9+20dB signal noted on remote SDR in Doha Qatar ME.

5007.93 - R.Madagascar, Ambohidrano,Madagascar 0210 De.22,2016
- Tune in to very weak signal w/ afro chorus music followed by string
instrumental. Music continued thru 0230 w/ Stevie Wonder Christmas song along
with what sounded like a carol in local lang. Signal level rising as I listened
but also drifting , 5007.98 - 5007.87. Despite increase in signal level I would
still describe it as poor/fair at best ( S5). Some type of het on 5008.41 but
not a real problem. OM & YL w/announcements at 0231, ID in local language.
Jingle Bells on woodwind instrument playing behind announcements then what
seemed like a more serious om announcer in between drums. Then into an mournful
a-cappella vocal, possibly religious ?

at 0330 UT Dec 22 a very tiny string visible on remote SDR in Doha Qatar on
5008.060 kHz.
Some other logs:
USA 7504.888 WRNO English sce, at 0335 UT on Dec 22, S=8 strength in Qatar.
BOT 7460 VoA Kirundi, distorted audio feed at 0339 UT,
content not understandable. S=9+20dB or -58dBm in ME
UAE 7285.095 BBC Arabic, uses that 4th tx at Al Dhabbaya,
which is always approx. +90 to +100v Hertz
unstable odd frequency.
ETH 7236.325 R Ethiopia frequency, 5 - 10 Hertz vary hopping around
S=5-6 poor in remote SDR at Doha Qatar, 0345 UT HoA mx,
but at 0400-0456 UT heavily QRM of adjacent 7240.005 kHz
VoTurkey Emirler in English, latter S=9+30dB powerful.
ETH other Ethiopians heard in Doha Qatar remote unit:
5949.998 Tigray Revol. S=9+5dB in Doha Qatar and remote Spain unit.
6029.9955 Oromya S=8-9 at 0347 UT Dec 22.
6090.001 R Amhara, S=8-9, HoA mx at 0434 UT Dec 22.
6109.9985 R Fana, S=9+5dB in remote Doha Qatar unit.
SOM 7119.998 Radio Hargeysa at 0358 UT Dec 22,
S=9+20dB in Qatar, S=9+10dB in Madrid Spain remote.
SDN 7205even R Omdurman, strong S=9+35dB carrier,
but low 15% modulation today Dec 22, but better as yesterday,
at 0440 UT. NX item of Almania (Germany) at 0438 UT
EQA 6049.995 tentat HCJB Quito distorted audio, poor S=6-7 at 0412 UT.
OMA 7259.990 RSO Oman Thumrait, Arabic morning sce to dessert zones
southwesterly at Africa ITU Ciraf 48 and 53 zones,
at 220degr azimuth, see HFCC database request.
Requested 04-10 UT.
