** U S A. 9395, Nov 10 at 0229, tuning in to check whether R. Tirana
relay via WRMI is back in whack --- surprised to hear a YL ID for
``SonPower World Radio, from the studios of WRMI --- on 5850, 7455 and
9395`` --- but I am not sure of the first two unexpected frequencies,
as could have said 5950, 9455.

SonPower, you may recall, was the Rick Wiles thing subtitled TruNews
that used to be on WRMI --- is he making a comeback, or was this just
an old ID that surfaced somehow? Anyhow, neither SPR nor Tirana
follows at 0230, rather World Music fill including some of the same
tunes heard 24 hours ago, breaking for a canned Spanish ID at 0243,
and now confirmed // 5950.

9955, Nov 10 at 1435, WRMI has some annoying QRM, not conventional
jamming noise; rather, multi-tone whine co-channel, which fine-tuning
with BFO seems to come from carriers about 292 Hz apart up to 1460 Hz,
beating against each other and WRMI as I tune upwards, during
Japanese-accented `Living the Bible`, still past 1502 with Blalock the
Blaster. STILL same whine QRM to 9955 at quick 2242 recheck.

5950, Nov 11 at 0140, what`s going on WRMI UT Sunday? VOA News ending,
Rudy ID in Spanish during Oldies stream, ``City of New Orleans``, but
9395 a JBA carrier cannot confirm //. At 0153 it`s in again and yes,
// 5950. 0205 still Oldies on 5950, 9395 gone again.

Further changes on the WRMI skedgrid as checked at 0530 UT Nov 11:

5950 with more RFI France relays: 07-08 Portuguese (ex-DW English via
WRN), 18-19 Spanish, 19-20 French, 20-21 Portuguese; and already 00-01
English.

Unspecified WRN relays on 5950 contract to: 05-07, 15-18, 21-24; and
// 9395 at 22-23. Is the 06-07 hour from WRN still RFI English? What
will happen when RFI drops its morning English?

Also: 5010 now shown as System B // 9955 at 01-05.

** U S A. 7490, UT Sat Nov 10 from 0000, WBCQ with Tom instead of
Allan Weiner, Worldwide. Over to John Carver`s summary:

``Show started on time this evening on 7490. Tom Barna is hosting the
show again with Robert sitting in as sidekick. Show opens with music
after Tom states that a lot of things have been going on this past
week. Opening talk about Maine's new governor. A Democrat and the
first female to ever hold the office. Apparently all that happened in
Maine this past week as that's all they talked about to begin with.
Several songs were played.

Robert announced that a donor was paying to have the old episodes of
The Hour of the Time show by Bill Cooper broadcast. It was also
announced that Hal Turner would begin simulcasting his show on 7490
and 5130. There will be a special program from Germany broadcast on
5130 from one to five-thirty local time tomorrow. One airing only.

Ramsey called at 0131. Brief talk about the old radio he was using to
listen to the show tonight and then some comments on the election.
Another phone call at 0141 from a caller asking if they could find a
donor to pay to rerun the Amos and Andy show, Tom explained that they
couldn't as Ed Bolton insisted that the tapes of the show be returned
to him every three months or so and they had very few episodes in
their archives. The caller stated that he has a lot of CDs that Ed
Bolton had sent him years ago with a lot of episodes of the program.
Said if he could make some money doing so, he would be willing to send
the CDs to the station if a backer could be found. Tom said he would
be in contact with him. Larry Will called at 0151 to say that he had a
few episodes of Amos and Andy in his archives.

No superstation news this evening. Show was off the air at 0200 in the
middle of a song and 7490 also went off the air at this time. John
Mid-North Indiana`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 5130, Sat Nov 10 at 1913, no signal from WBCQ, nor any
expected way out here, 2721 km = 1690 statute miles from Monticello
over a full-day path, during special booking from Universe Radio,
Netherlands, as publicized for 18-22 UT today. Not checked again until
2229 when some JBA talk and music can be measured on 5130.159. Must be
the other transmitter, rather than usual 5129.83 area. Still offset
plus at 0147. WBCQ said that Universe would be extended to 2230 (Glenn
Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 17775, KVOH. Voice of Hope website still displays old
program sked of September keyed to PDT --- Lacking any explicit answer
about it from Ray, I want to confirm correct time for AWR Wavescan
now, which had been Saturday 1500. Nov 10 at 1513, maybe a JBA
carrier? Maybe not, as 1603 I still hear nothing; but 1627 recheck
just in time, it`s faded up to poor S9-S8 for a couple words sounding
like Jeff White, then classical piano music fill, so it seems WS is
now starting at 1600. 1859 check: no signal, already off or faded out
again? (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 5085, Nov 10 at 1912, WTWW-2 is on `night` frequency,
achieving S9+10 over a daytime megameter, playing `Popcorn` and
presumably more classic rock; meanwhile 9475, WTWW-1, S9+20 in usual
QSO ham show diverging from PPPP.

5085, Nov 11 at 0100 tune-in, WTWW-2 with `Theatre Organ in the Ozarx`
running late as usual from timeshifted nominal 0030 UT Sunday; speech
sounds OK but some distortion on the music; finally over at 0111 for
Tedad (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
