** CHINA. CNR1 jammer survey July 6 from 1341: 12190 JBA; 12210 S5-S7

** KOREA NORTH. 6045, July 6 at 1339, nothing but noise jamming. Ron
Howard upon Asilomar State Beach, California, agrees: ``KOREA
NORTH/SOUTH. 6045, Voice of Freedom, on 1119+, on July 6. Totally
blocked by super strong white noise jamming from N. Korea. The former
enjoyable reception of VOF has come to an end for the time being!``

I also have an unjammed? signal on 5990, presumably Echo of Hope,
South to North Korea as Ron also confirms (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** KOREA NORTH. 13760.2, July 6 at 1346, JBA carrier presumed still
VOK knocked off frequency (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 2041 monitoring: confirmed new time of 0030
UT Monday July 6 on WRMI 7730, VG S9+10/20, the only frequency on
285-degree azimuth from Okee, which crosses: Houston TX; just south of
Nogales, Sonora; right on Honolulu; Port Moresby; but plenty signal
here 30 degrees offbeam, second only to 315 on 7570, 5850. Just prior
at 0029.5, an Allen Graham in Quito ID and a fragment of Bob Zanotti
in Berne, all he gets out is his name before I interrupt him without
intending to.

Also confirmed UT Monday July 6 at 0130 on WRMI 7780, S9/+10 vs high
storm noise level almost exactly off the side of this 44-degree beam;
this time at 0129.5 a Rudy Espinal ID, and again a fragment of BZ,
why?

Also confirmed UT Monday July 6 at 0230 on WRMI 7780, VG at Maine SDR

Also confirmed UT Monday July 6 starting at 0301:45 on Area 51 via
WBCQ 5130, S9+10/20 including storm crashes.

Also confirmed UT Monday July 6 at 0330 on WRMI 9955, VG at TWR
Bonaire; good at Pardinho SP Brasil where slight jamming is audible
under. Next:

1800vUT Monday IRRS 7290 Bulgaria to WNW, 594-Italy
0100 UT Tuesday WRMI 7780 to NE
2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW
0100 UT Thursday WRMI 7780 to NE

0000-0900 UT -- 73! Ivo Ivanov`` --- So their English transmitter(s)
down (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 17815, Monday July 6 at 1452, open carrier S9/+10, quickly
turned off. Probably WHRI test; available 14-21 daily but normally
used only on Sundays --- or so I thought until checking

https://familybroadcastingcorporation.com/whr/whr-iframe-page/?search=Angel1
which claims `Angel 1` runs 17.815 every day at 19-22 except for a
switch to 17540 at 2105-2130, which I also find hard to believe;
exaggerated scheduling beyond axual SW usage? Mostly just Music with
IRN News on the hour, hardly worth the watts.

It also claims Angel 6 on 7385 not only most of the night, but all day
long! Don`t you believe it (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

Radio Yura - La Voz de los Ayllus - is back on the air transmitting from the
village Yura located between Potos? and Uyuni in Bolivia. The frequency is
5935,0 kHz. Monitored from s/on at 2240 UTC on July 6th 2020 via remote SDR
receives in Brazil. Very weak here at my QTH in Randers, Denmark.

The widely reported slogan of the station Yutan Ayllu Yura is wrong. The
correct spelling is: Radio Jatun Ayllu Yura.

** CUBA. 11670, July 7 at 0046, S9+10/20 of dead air from RHC; 11800
is also S9+10/20 but just barely modulated; always flanked by
parasitic JBA spurs 11790 & 11810, no modulation audible as
occasionally can achieve. Something`s always wrong at RHC. Was still
tuned to 11670 after Spain check at 2200 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SPAIN. 9690 VG > 12030 G > 11940 F >> 11670 no signal, Monday July
6 tune-in shortly after 2200, REE already playing music, but soon
Justin Coe about flamenco and jazz, the M/W/F English (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 9830, July 6 at 2203, no signal from VOT English to us, nor
any NSS RTTY. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2041 monitoring: not confirmed the
Monday July 6 at 1801 on IRRS 7290 via Bulgaria; did anyone hear it? I
was late tuning in after lunch at 1831 and by then it was dead air!
Carrier on vs RTTY 7291 warble and usual splatter from 7280 Vietnam,
but no modulation; nor at recheck 1853 during which the SW Report
should have partially aired. I fear that the first semihour was also
dead. As monitored via UTwente SDR, of course.

No luck either UT Tuesday July 7 at 0100 on WRMI 7780, this one off
the air, not even a JBA carrier, while the others on 7730 & 7570 were
inbooming. 7780 still AWOL at 0125 and past 0200. Next:

2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW
0100 UT Thursday WRMI 7780 to NE

** U S A. 15610, July 6 at 2023 check; and 9385, July 7 at 0055 & 0323
chex, WEWN English still missing from both frequencies; but 5970
Spanish still extant at 0055 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** YEMEN [non]. 11860.012, July 7 at 0048, Qur`an and Cuban pulse
jamming adding up to S7-S9, must be Republic of Yemen Radio via one of
the Sa`udi sites. Seldom heard anymore, let alone in our mornings like
it used to be, of course blocked by Radio Mart? at 14-22, and Cuban
jamming even prolonger. Not in HFCC A-20, nor anything from Sa`udi
Arabia. Aoki shows ROYR sked as 02-23, EiBi and WRTH Update as 02-22,
and this is after all the nightmiddle there. It might have expanded to
24h during Ramadan, but that`s long gone. Nothing else in any of them
until China/Tibet after 0130 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
