Hi Dmitry,
thanks for your message. Unfortunately, it is becoming increasingly rare
for radio stations to send QSLs by post without reimbursement. I
recently saw QSL incoming messages from WMRI, where "$$" was also
written. A real card is something nice! Unfortunately, I've had mostly
bad experiences with Web Forms, so I wasn't sure if submitting my July
report to the WMRI website would lead to anything. But you gave me hope ....
Thanks and vy73 Frank

The only possibility to send an email to WWRB seems to be the web form
at wwrb.org.
The address dfra...@wwrb.org is invalid or blocked. David L Frantz is a
radio amateur with call sign WA4SZE, but in QRZ he is not listed with an
email address. 73 Frank

** BRAZIL. 9665.854V, Sept 13 at 0610, Brazuguese talk fair from RVM,
frequency wobbling slightly to the ear. Its overall variation is much
wider. Also a JBA het from something closer to 9665.00, no doubt KCBS
Pyongyang on here 22 hpd. No hint on Aoki that RVM varies widely; EiBi
shows 9665.2 as if it were steady there. Better than Aoki which
refuses to show a single variable, split-, off- or decimal frequency,
even perpetual long-established ones. Better than HFCC which refuses
to recognize that there is any SW from Brasil (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CANADA. 328-MCW kHz, Sept 13 at 0555 UT, ND beacon dash and YTL,
which is 1000 watts from Big Trout Lake, Ontario.

284-MCW kHz, Sept 13 at 0556 UT, ND beacon dash and QD, which is 500
watts from The Pas, Manitoba (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 12000, Sept 13 at 0601, RHC English heard just in time on 2 X
much stronger 6000 before both turn off. Something`s always wrong at
RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6950-USB, Sept 13 at 0230, I`m trying to hear
something else on a TN SDR but it`s busy, but someone in Houston is
tuned to 6950-USB, so it must be a pirate, so I camp on that too. It`s
a recording of an old C2CAM show with Art Bell interviewing someone
about pirate radio. Someone here thinx it`s Andy Yoder:
https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,86351.0.html
apparently as displayed on the SSTV. Some storm noise and fades, 0236
pitch for QSL cards from a PO Box in zip 49016, which is Battle Creek
MI; then plays a clip of some pirate. 0244 clip about wine? and a bit
of `Also Sprach Zarathustra`. 0246 interrupted by SSTV until 0247*
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 960, Sept 13 at 0630 UT, KGWA Enid with promo by J.
Curtis Huckleberry for `What`s Up, Enid`, weekly talkshow with guests
about local events, Fridays at 8:05 am = 1305 UT. It must pre?mpt the
first hour of far-right Fox extremist Brian Kilmeade (Glenn Hauser,
Enid, WOR)

** SOUTH CAROLINA [non]. 9670, Sept 12 at 2212, JBA S3-S6 talk, sounds
same as on huge 9980 WWCR, but not // synchro, i.e. Brother
HyStairical, which Channel 292, GERMANY, has sold it soul to for
time-filling $$$. Rolling in dough, TOM no more now than under BS
himself, has any concept of spending it wisely, i.e. C292 is useless
in `serving` NAm while they are also on numerous high-power US
frequencies (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 9830, Sept 12 at 2208, VOT English is on but heavy RTTY
adding up to S9+20/30. Sometimes RTTY can be evited by LSB tuning, but
now it`s equal on both sides. Something`s always awry at Ankara -- in
this case, ever choosing an RTTY-occupied frequency! Which they keep
doing A-season after A-season (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 9540, Sept 13 at 1428, S8/S9+10 YL talk with very heavy
flutter, presumably VOT Arabic hour as scheduled, rather than CNR1
jamming vs SOH (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 400-MCW kHz, Sept 13 at 0552, ND beacon AHQ, which is 25
watts from Wahoo, Nebraska (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2103 monitoring: confirmed Sunday
September 12 after 2000 in IRRS SW via Italia AM 918 kHz, S9+23 into
nearby Noale SDR, but unusually with a hint of music CCI beneath.
Probably R. Inter, Madrid, 20 kW which reactivated since WRTH listing
as inactive; shows other 918s in Egypt, Greece, Holland, Iran,
Nigeria. Rock music was playing at 1959; 2000 interrupt for IRRS ID,
and WOR by 2001.

Also confirmed, Sun Sept 12 after 2230 on WRMIs: 9955 S9+23 and new
5950 S9+20 into Athens GA SDR.

Also confirmed UT Mon Sept 13 at 0030 on WRMIs: 7730 VG direct; also
on new 9395, S3-S8 into Maryland SDR but not getting 9455; on new
9455, S9/+10 into Missouri SDR.

Also confirmed UT Mon Sept 13 at 0130 on WRN webcast to N America.

At 2238 UT Sept 12, I posted: ``[WOR] SuperStition back on 9330 --- At
2215 Sept 12, WBCQ 9330 at S9+40/50 so must be the 500 kW -- a rock
opera, so a test? Hardly what would be coming from World`s Last
Chance. Not // 7490- or 6160-``. Followed at 0118 UT Sept 13:

``[WOR] 9330 testing, Area 51 relay --- Hi Glenn, the superstation is
relaying Area 51 tonight on 9330 while they're testing the
transmitter's new tube. I expect to hear WOR at the usual time //
6160. {500 kW, WBCQ. 0300v UT Monday} Lw (Larry Will, 0112:46 UT Sept
12)``

``Yes, WOR started at 0303.5 on 9330, but checked at 0304, 6160 has
switched to Brother Scare! Let`s hope the 9330 test last at least
until 0332..5. BTW a Kiwi shows 9330 plus 32 Hz, S9+40/50 into TN.
Glenn``

``No worries, Glenn. The entire WOR played as did the program after.
Most of the evening Brother Scare would return to 6160 at the top of
the hour until someone would switch it back. I believe it was all
Brother Scare all the time after 0100 or thereabouts. I quit checking
after 0130 and left it on 9330. John [Carver] Mid-North Indiana`` at
0449 UT Sept 13.

``Larry, Tnx, it sure did while 6160 went back to BS already. Too bad
my unexpected closing remark was cut off. Glenn`` Next:

1030 UT Wednesday WRMI 5850 to NW
2100 UT Wednesday WRMI 7780 to NE
2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW
0030 UT Thursday WRMI 9395 to NNW, 9455 to WNW [news]
0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S

One may also contribute by MO or check in US funds on a US bank to:
Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 USA (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 9330, WBCQ-6 SuperStition reactivated with new PA tube:
first see discussion under WOR monitoring. By 0248 UT Mon Sept 13,
9330 is carrying Area 51 instead of 6160-. S9+40/50 into TN SDR, rock
music. 0300 WBCQ ID but ``Debauchery`` show runs over, wrapping up, DJ
says he is turning 60, refers to current events; finally 0305 singing
ID and into WOR. Recheck at 0603, now it`s USA Radio News, down to
only S8-S9 direct, 0606 into rock music with no ID. I suspect it`s now
relaying WBCQ`s FM or AM station in Monticello, as USA R Nx is not
normally heard on WBCQ-SW itself; but still not handed back to World`s
Last Chance flat-earth nonsense. Next check 1425, VG with
American-accented gospel huxter, maybe WLCR but I await that
exaggerated British accent to be surer (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 1520, Sept 13 at 0606, `Red Eye Radio` on KOKC, OKC is
getting ripped up by YL obsessed with stupid sportstalk, same voice
heard on 1430, 1390 KCRC, 1300, maybe 1130. This has been the normal
situation for many months: no one cares that KOLM, Rochester MN is
running 10 kW day facility at night; that would be the CBS Sports
Radio net as also on KCRC. Of course, KOKC would have a better chance
if it cared about resuming 50 kW (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Oceanic JBA MW carrier search, Sept 13 at 0617:
621, 639, 711(2), 747, 846, 882, 1098, 1107 kHz (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

Due to the incompetence? of the WBCQ technicians, the 'Final Tube' was
destroyed by mis-matching recently ?.

Now Thomcast / Ampegon firm has produced a single tube again,
against EUR / US_$ 150,000
{heavy cost read recently on wor?},
and Continental-USA technicians have
installed the final tube in the Ampegon system.

Despite RTC Beijing Chinese technicians use 150 or much more
shortwave transmitters of 150, 250/300 or 500 kW final power,
--- of the same final tube type ... UFB ??
