Medium wave DXing?There's much fun with it but you need some good antenna if
you wish to copy some trans-atlantic signal immersed among local stations.Here
is an example of what you might hear with a simple antenna system and a single
channel receiver:http://iv3nwv.it/mwdx/sensor1.wavHow many signals do you copy?
For sure some music and an arabic speaker in the background but not that much
and with a lot of interference.Anyway, with a multichannel receiver and clever
algorithms things can go incredibly better.Here is what can be heard digitally
processing the same signal with four omnidirectional sensors. There are three
signals: some local music, an arabic speaker and radio Reloj from Cuba, and
each of them can be perfectly copied.Here are the outputs generated by the four

0700 here only. But now at 0649, English is still running on 6060,

Thursday December 2 at 0130 on WRMIs into Missouri SDR: 9395 S9+20;

SDR closer to the 5010 azimuth: zero! Not even hearing 5025 Cuba and
5040 only a trace. This rx is deaf. But conditions are not good: 5010
is only JBA into Brasilia #2 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

4095.65 CW, Dec 2 at 0645, DW IDs amid sweepups from the Desert
Whooper beacon. There used to be another one just above 4102 with ID
as W but have not been detecting it (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
UNIDENTIFIED. 10860, Dec 2 at 1525, JBA music, the only WOOB audible,
none in the 11s, 12s, 13s or 14s, and suspected of CNR1 jamming but
unlisted as such in Aoki or EiBi. At 1535, another JBA carrier on
8880, the latter also unlisted and gone without preamps or with
attenuation, so presumably a local mix (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
