I make a point of monitoring the final R. Angela broadcast, UT
Thursday June 1 on WBCQ 5130 -24 Hz = 5129.976: ethnic music hosted by
Uncle Bill himself, so it`s UBMP? No, another of his shows only on
R.A., `African Music Panorama`. At 0300 he`s combining some `Dangdut &
Beyond` episodes of Malaysian/Indonesian music, by Zach Liangas,
originally 10 minutes each. 0330 polka and yodeling, ``secret Swiss``?
Then Slovenia. 0400 usual short features to 0411, open carrier to
cutoff at 0412.5* Nothing was to be heard in the way of farewell,
final broadcast. Indeed UT June 2 circa 0310, 5130 is not on the air
any more.
