They have neither published a press release nor has there been other publicity so far, so this was indeed the only way to find out. The PDF file is dated 19 June, suggesting that the broadcasts started this Monday. It's a revival after 13 or even more years, they took Arabic off shortwave in 2010 or even earlier if memory serves right (will look it up later). So this is indeed a surprise, particularly in the current situation of up to 300 job positions to go and linear TV in German to close.
