** ANTARCTICA. 15475.98 RC USB, Sat Dec 16 at 1801 tune-in via
Argentine remote, LRA36 with Morse code ID and canned vocal sign-on,
S7/S9. But I`d rather listen to The Magic Flute from The Met. Still
circa 1958 mentioning ``frecuencia alternativa``; 2113 still going;
0039 UT Sun Dec 17 still2 going (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** EGYPT. 9440v, Dec 16 at 2116 & 2139, no signals from R. Cairo in
English into UTwente. Something`s amiss at Abis (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** TURKEY [and non]. 5960, Dec 16 at 2326 check, VOT is on with music,
S9+20/30 direct but I learnt a lot more about Turkey by watching Rick
Steves` program on Istanbul, coincidentally at 2300 on PBS/OETA Create
channel 13-3 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2221 monitoring: confirmed UT
Saturday December 16 at 0130 on WRMI 5850, S5/9 into Maryland SDR.

Also confirmed Saturday December 16 at 1700 on WRN North America
webcast.

Also confirmed Saturday December 16 at 2030 about 2 minutes into so
started circa 2028 on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, MO. Also from 2030 on RMI
webcast only and WRN N America webcast. Next:

0100 UT Sunday WRMI 9955 to SSE [also web-, phonecast; jammed?]
0330vUT Sunday WA0RCR 1860-AM [nominal 0415; as late as 0600]
1130 UT Sunday WRMI 9955 [also webcast, phonecast; jammed by Cuba?]
2100 UT Sunday IRRS 1323 & 918? & 207?-Italy
0030 UT Monday WRMI 7780 to SW
0400vUT Monday WBCQ Area 51 6160v to WSW
0330 UT Tuesday WRMI 7780 to SW
1400 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [also web-, phonecast; jammed?]
0030 UT Wednesday WRMI 9395 to NNW
1200 UT Wednesday Unique R, NSW 5035-USB or 3210-USB
1230 UT Wednesday Unique R, NSW 5035-USB or 3210-USB [previous #2220]
1500 UT Wednesday WRMI 9955 [unsked but confirmed last 2 weeks]
2200 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW or 5130v?
0130 UT Thursday WRMI 9395 to NNW
0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S

Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** VATICAN. 15565, Dec 16 at 1610, African language with long/short
path echo, S8/9+5 direct. VR in Swahili. Most other extracontinental
SW signals are now quite attenuated (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 15710.1, Sat Dec 16 at 1611, JBA talk clearly
off-frequency. Nothing in EiBi or Aoki, but latest HFCC shows on day 7
only = Saturday, and just effective from last week Dec 9:
15710 1600 1630 48W ISS 500 127 0 217 7 091223 300324 D 17400 Amh F
RMI TDF 4620 Moresh
What about WRMI`s own skedgrid, the TDF relays at the bottom? Not
shown, but two *other* Amharix at 1600-1630:
Oromia Public Media 17575 M/W/F
Amharic Radio International 17685 Mon-Sat
and Moresh only at a different time:
Moresh Voice of Amhara International Radio 0400-0430 9590 Tue/Thu/Sat
All effective from 29 Oct = start of B23 season. Offfrequencinessplus
is a big clue that it`s typically ISS, like 9490+ for R Rep?blica. So
is that it? (Glenn Hauser, OK, OR)
