Hello,
I've caught this signal locally on occasion, but I was never sure whether I
was listening to the actual station or the Turkish jamming.
How do you find out?
Greets,
Alain - F4LDT

compare with the webplayer of Denge Gel.org

Turkish jammer is always plus 8 to 13 Hertz on the upper side flank of the
25 mband channels,
and plays mostly Turkish Osmanic empire world Near East music.
but on Denge-gel radio mostly talk by Kurds Nationals heard instead.

Hi Chris,
WRTH 2024 has

0330-1600 11520
1600-2200 7465

Both fq's variable to avoid jamming. I could hear them yesterday on 11535
kHz, but not today, maybe they are becoming irregular. And they call
themselves now Deng? Gel.

  I was wondering if anyone has a recent confirmed schedule for Denge Welat?

** CANADA [and non]. 328 MCW kHz, Jan 28 at 0756, dash and YTL,
1000-watt ND beacon at Big Trout Lake ON; simulaudible from 329 MCW,
PMV, 25-watt NDB at Plattsmouth NE.

346 MCW kHz, Jan 28 at 0758 UT, dash and YXL, 500-watt NDB at Sioux
Lookout ON; hardly any other beacons beyond OK overcoming local noise
level now (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CHINA. Bandscan at earlier hour than usual hits two DRM
noisesblobs: Jan 28 at 0108, 17765-17770-17775, S9/+10; and at 0113,
15175-15180-15185, S8/S9, both in HFCC as internal ChiCom services
aimed from south to north China, 30 kW at 16 and 32 degrees from
Dongfang, Hainan; and Kunming:

CHN CNR RTC 3226
Aoki shows both start at 0053 with CNR1 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CHINA. 17490, Jan 28 at 0110, FE/Chinese screeching song with
orchestra, S9+10/20 the SSOB tho really OOB, with Doppler flutter.
Beijing site at 193 degrees listed, SSW hardly USward, in Nan, AM or
Amo, as Big 3 sources can`t agree on lang. abbrs. WRTH says Amoy.
There are many weak AM signals on the bands displaying FE Doppler
flutter, mostly likely China (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CHINA. Many JBA signals or JBA carriers with Doppler flutter, in
survey 16-12 MHz, including OOB, most likely CNR1 jammers vs Sound of
Hope, as listed, Jan 28:
15970 at 0116, JBM S9+10;
15920 at 0117, JBA music;
16100 at 0117, carrier;
16160 at 0117, talk sounds Chinese; none higher in the 16s;
14920 at 0118, S9/+10 Chinese;
13920 at 0119, S6/S8 Chinese;
13805 at 0120, Chinese;
13640 at 0121, S9/+10 Chinese;
13610 at 0121, // 13640;
13530 at 0122, JBA carrier;
13020 at 0123, JBA (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 12360, Jan 28 at 0124, S9/+10 JBM signal hit after China
OOBandscan, barely in English and //6180 S9+30 also JBM but slightly
more readable on harmonic. Not // 6000 which is RHC. CRI relay, sked
now on 6180 as is Brasil, but no sign of that now. By 0154 recheck,
12360 faded to a JBA carrier, due to prop, or suppressed at site? 6180
remains S9+10/20 and just barely modulated (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** INDONESIA [non]. 7780, Jan 28 at 0818, VOI via WRMI in American
English, promoting Bali for tourism but please don`t litter the
beaches, etc.; S8, with three brief noise-blast QRMs at 0819, same as
on tops and bottoms of hours. This would be a lot more useful if not
only in the middle of our nights and on a better frequency (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6882 USB, Jan 28 at 0132, rock music and unreadable
announcement, the OPSOB, S9+20. Many logs here as Radio 48 via Mix
Radio International Worldwide, including waterfall images:
https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,124700.0.html
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 7475, Jan 28 at 0136, S7/S9 direct of Station YHWH,
anti-Christ pirate, voice and intonation of Josiah recognizable (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** ROMANIA. 9700, Jan 28 at 0142, S9+30/20 bigsig, rock songs with
heavy disco-beat of 120/minute, lyrix all in English, mostly YL voice;
DJ interjexion in French, and then Romanian. 0147 R. Romania
International IDs and more music past 0151. Alan Roe`s Music on SW
lists this as `As We Like! (Hour 2)(Club/party)`, Sundays only at
0100-0200; 24h later: folk music.

EiBi shows 01-03 in Romanian to ENAm. But Aoki shows 0100-0257 in
Aromanian via Tsiganeshti! I think not: Aromanian is a related
minority dialect spoken in several Balkan countries, see:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aromanian_language
WRTH shows two other B23 frequencies for the bihour in Romanian; RRI
does have three Aromanian semihours for Europe on 5955 via Saftica
site (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TAIWAN. 18040, Jan 28 at 0112, JBA carrier with flutter. AM unusual
in this aero band and not expecting any ``broadcaster`` but there it
is in Aoki, at 0000-0200, XingXing guangbo dianti, Kuanyin. That`s a
numbers station, StarStar, last reported 7 months ago when Ron Howard
referenced this:
http://radio.chobi.net/DX/SKDV13.php
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2227 monitoring: confirmed UT
Sunday January 28 at 0100 on WRMI 9955, S9+20/30 direct, atop Cuban
pulse jamming.

Also confirmed UT Sunday January 28 already at 0402 about 9 minutes
into so nominal 0415 started way early circa 0353 UT on WA0RCR,
1860-AM, MO, S9+10 direct but noisy.

** U S A [non]. 7490: when I was uplooking what QRMed WBCQ from 7495,
in Aoki, I also spotted this totally wrong entry; don`t you believe
it!:
``7490 0100-0300 USA WWCR The Overcomer Minis Eng Nashville 1``
i.e. on Sundays only --- like NEVER, as 7490 is WBCQ always during
those hours, not even with TOMBS on Sundays but `SW Saturday Night`
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. About WTWW`s current problem: ``A broken heat exchanger???
Must be a single stage heat exchanger. They use distilled water for
cooling of the PA tube. The water turns to steam and is fed to a
radiator where it is cooled and turned back to water to be fed thru
the system again. There is a water pump to do this. So, the water must
have frozen up inside the radiator and it (or pipes) burst. Northern
stations have a 2-stage heat exchanger. It`s distilled water on the
inside and anti-freeze on the outside. I worked at a station that had
a single stage system. When it got cold (below freezing) we had an
operator at the transmitter to keep an eye on things. If it got too
cold he would close the louvres, and it would warm up again. But that
was in the days of the first class license and we had an engineer on
duty 24/7. Now, most transmitters are solid state. Lou KF4RCA``
Johnson (via Glenn Hauser, WOR)

** VATICAN. 7250, Jan 28 at 0809, VR IS at S5/S7, 0810 into RCC
chanting; what luck: this is Sunday-only Romanian until 0925 per Aoki,
-0920 per EiBi; -0920 liturgy per WRTH // 9710, both also on Catholic
holidays (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Atlantic JBA MW carrier search, Jan 28 at 0055:
855, 891, 909, 1044, 1107, 1152 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 9160-9185 & same sound on 9355-9375, Jan 28 at 0139, OTH
radar pulsing at S9+30/20; nicely avoiding USA broadcasters on 9265,
9330, 9395 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
