** JAPAN. 28433 USB, March 29 at 2208, JG2KJU calling CQ DX North
America. QRZ.com: ``JG2KJU Japan flag Japan, Masayuki "Masa" Mori, 3-3
Minami ikaruga-cho, Yokkaichi-city, Mie-pref. 510-0008, Japan``
Some nice photos on his page:
https://www.qrz.com/db/JG2KJU
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6967.64 AM approx., March 29 at 0356, music JBA vs
high line noise level HLNL at S9+25! Per this, it`s Stern Radio,
6967.666v, including from station itself:
https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,127742.0.html
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SPAIN. 9690, Fri Mar 29 at 2300, token English from SNR, VG
S9+20/40 into Maryland SDR, preview to be about how Holy Week is
celebrated, from the archives. I`ve heard enough already about the
activities of wacky religionists; apparently going to skip any news --
good, TGIF, but first the A24 frequencies again, failing to specify
anything about English, i.e. will be an hour earlier at 2200 and still
on thrice a week only. New listeners will have to find out for
themselves, or give up (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY [and non]. 5960.005, Mar 29 at 2300, VOT VG into UTwente,
nice unID music at 2312 after `Review of the Turkish Press`, 2317
`Weekly Analysis` by John --- about how Arab countries have helped
bail Egypt out of its economic situation. 2322 multi-lingual ID filler
reel, music. 2330 ``always-by-your-side`` promo, music. 2337 `Turkish
Folk Tales` about a rich brother and a poor brother. Punch line: how
seawater is salty. 6CI undercurrent. 2344 ``with-you-every-hour``
promo. 2345 `That`s Why` with the badax, smoking causing cancer,
repeat of repeat. 2350 s/off with all-wrong English sked. Something`s
always awry at Ankara. 2352 IS two or three times till chopped at
2252.5, uncovering XJRTV, std denunciations (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2236 monitoring: confirmed Friday
March 29 at 2030 on WRMI webcast only, 9955 not yet on.

NOT confirmed Fri Mar 29 at 2130-2133 on IRRS via AM Italia, 1323 kHz.
Recording via UTwente while I napped, only a weak Qur`an signal,
likewise when I set it up before 2100 and recheck 2228. Per MWlist,
the only possibility is R. Tabriz, Jofra, Iran, 50 kW, normally off at
this hour but no doubt extended for Ramadan, tho still a bit early for
breakfast. So no chance to check for Italia on 918 or 207 kHz, but not
heard theres for many months.

Confirmed Friday March 29 at 2200 on WRMI 9955, JBA direct vs HLNL,
but finally recognize a few words from #2236. Next:

0130 UT Saturday WRMI 5850 to NW
0400 UT Saturday WTWW 5085

As noncommercial services, financial support appreciated. Thanks this
week to Richard Colgan, TX for a contribution via PayPal to
woradio at yahoo.com
and says, ``Thanks for your work. Best wishes and 73``

One may also contribute by MO or check in US funds on a US bank to:
Glenn Hauser, PO Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. Pre-`AAAWWW` WBCQ check, into Maryland SDR, Fri Mar 29 from
2348: 3265 off. 5130.253 ATATT. 6159.931 TOMBS. 7489.948 FKB. 9330.000
WLCR PP. 0000 UT Sat Mar 30, 5130+ & 7490- switch to `AAAWWW` and it`s
immediately clear as live, since right into `Good` Friday evangelism;
unneeded. Recheck near the end, reads a bunch of pirate names and
frequencies from FRW, no further details (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. Re 5085 // 9395, ``That voice you heard on the radio,
claiming that the CIA/MI6/Ukrainian intelligence was behind the Moscow
theater attack may have been Joe Kent, MAGA candidate for Washington's
4th Congressional district. He was apparently making the rounds on the
pod/talk circuit yesterday, flogging the "Rootin' for Putin" party line:
https://www.huffpost.com/entry/gop-candiate-us-ukraine-may-be-involved-moscow-attack_n_66061c4ce4b0e166b2cd8ce9
The only thing scarier is how close he came to winning that seat in
the last election. Regards, Chuck Albertson, Seattle`` (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** U S A. 900, March 29 at 0721 UT, just as I tune across, English ID
as WKDA, and 98.3. This is Lebanon, TN, U1 5000/136 watts in NRC AM
Log, but shows FMs on 101.9 and 98.9, NOS/C&W format.
Radio-locator.com shows Spanish! Radio Luz, also on 101.9. WTFDA FM DB
does not show WKDA relayed by anything, but there is a 98.3 in
Lebanon: W252DU relaying WCOR-1490, 100 watts, 87m, format Country,
slogan FM 98.9 Real Country, //WANT 98.9. What a confusing situation
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 13563.5 CW approx., March 29 at 2210, HIFER beacon RQ
again and JBA: all I hear is the ID over and over. This time I search
the UDXF iog: far too many hits on those two letters, nothing to do
with this or correlating with frequency. Frequency alone leads to lots
of number-station logs (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
