** AUSTRIA [and non]. Media Broadcast B24 schedule: NDR Gru? an Bord
at 1800-2100 Dec 24: Nothing really listenable direct, possible only
on 11, 13 and 15. WRMI 15770 as usual too weak here off the side. At
1844+ I check UTwente. All of them are in music, except 9635.000-
German talk! Later they are all talking but 9635 does not match. Must
be way out of synch at Moosbrunn, why? 13829.999+ Nauen, 11649.999+
Issoudun, 6079.962 Tashkent VG S9+20/30, 6030.047- ISS VG S9+20/25. By
2057 check, 9635 is off already; 6079.962 with lots of applause, no
ID, and 2100 into Korean: nothing so scheduled in Aoki & EiBi, but
China already in Chinese at 2025-0100 on 6080. Ah?, in EiBi by time,
Korean starts at 2100 via Uzbekistan on 7540, Clandestine Voice of
Martyrs. RFA & CRI also Korean but not via Tashkent (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 7475, Dec 24 at 0724, intonations of Josiah on
another late broadcast from Station YHWH. Since he`s anti-Christ, is
he also anti-Xmas? S7 = noise level (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** PUERTO RICO [and non]. 391 MCW kHz, Dec 24 at 0735, DDP, NDB
audible again; so I also check frequencies for some other LAm targets
as previously lined up: 385 has a JBA carrier which could be PTP,
Guadeloupe; but really logged recently was UWL, 25 watts at New Castle
IN (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SPAIN. 9690, Dec 24 at 2326, no REE signals into UTwente, but it`s
ill-positioned. At 2328 into Maryland SDR, 9690 VG, 12030 sufficient,
nothing audible on 17715 & 17755. Spanish/Sephardic Xmas? stuff, not
English on a Tuesday (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 5960, Dec 24 at 2302 and 2315 direct, NO signal from VOT
English, nor at 2325 into UTwente, but plenty Chinese. At 2302 algo on
possible accidental alternate 9610, but at 2325 that`s not VOT either
but presumed Mongolian. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2274 monitoring: confirmed UT
Tuesday December 24 at 0330 on WRMI 7780. VG S9+18/20 into S TX SDR.

Missed checking Tue Dec 24 at 1400 & 1500 on WRMI 9955; anyone hear
them?

Confirmed Tuesday December 24 at 2102 the 2100 on IRRS SW via AM
Italia, 1322.999-, S8 but noisy into UTwente. Next:

0030 UT Wednesday WRMI 9395 to NNW;
0030 UT Wednesday SW Radio, Germany 3975;
2030 UT Wednesday SW Radio, Germany 3975;
2200 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW;
0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S;
1730 UT Thursday SW Radio, Germany 3975.

Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 5850, Dec 24 at 0720, JBA carrier instead of TOMBS inbooming
on WRMI-12: exciter only or totally off clearing for something else,
nothing listed. Equal signal on 5840. 5850 back on as usual by 2300
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. 7570, Dec 24 at 2305, WRMI-11 is missing again
instead of starting at 2300, while 7730 & 7780 are poorly audible. JBA
signal on 7570, presumably KCBS, not the one in San Francisco (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 9350, Dec 24 at 2252, WWCR-2 with squealing gunk both sides
out to 9335/9365, S9+50 at center. Same transmitter which does the
same later out of 5935. Its other channels are 7490 & 12160 (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 650, Dec 24 at 2309, two stations mixing about equally,
surely WSM TN and KGAB WY (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 680, Dec 24 at 2310 UT, ``Legends of Country - KKYX`` promo:
50/10 kW San Antonio TX (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 5840, Dec 24 at 0720, JBA carrier. Only station known is
FRS Holland, but publicized holiday broadcasts not at this time nor
date rather than Dec 22 & 25. Equal mini-signal on 5850, WRMI? (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 9797.5 USB, Dec 24 at 0726, 2-way in unID language, not
Spanish, intruders (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

With holiday greetings, this report posted at 0026 UT December 25

I stuck with 11650 kHz for all three hours for my recording using outside
equipment (see attached photo). Receiver got so cold it wouldn't change
frequenecies, anyway. With my indoor equipment, 9635 kHz became better than
11650 kHz in the third hour of the broadcast.

At 20:40, the best now is 9635, then 15770 and 11650 into Masset.
The others are not very strong at all, with the weakest being 6080, then
6030, then 13830.
Not sure what happened, but the first 90 minutes were MUCH stronger. I
assume a hiccup in the ionosphere

Quick check at 1940: 6030, 9635, 11650 are in synch, 13830 is six seconds
behind, 6080 nine seconds, 15770 about 13 seconds.

Seems to confirm that 9635 indeed comes from Moosbrunn, as swan song of the
big rotatable antenna.
Contradictory data had appeared in advance, perhaps related to the question
which Nauen transmissions
of TWR may or may not be reinstated (see the notes from Hansj?rg that
already more of them reappeared at Talata Volonondry).

What causes this: Issoudun and Moosbrunn do it the classic way and pointed a
satellite dish at 19.2 deg. East,
only for this single broadcast, at least as far as Issoudun is concerned
(there is a possibility that the already
defunct 6155 kHz transmission at Moosbrunn used satellite instead of FM as
signal source).
Nauen apparently uses IP, this delay should be too much for being explained
by different satellite receivers.
Tashkent and Okeechobee do anyway, with the satellite signal being out of
reach.

Had a good laugh when one guest remarked (in this recording from more than
two weeks ago...)
that the recipient of his greeting will have no time to listen live but
perhaps catch the podcast.
Kai

6030 ( France ) now coming in with a poor but readable signal. Frequency is
pretty quiet so it is getting thru.
6080 ( Uzbekistan ) barely any signal here. Just intermittent audio. Loads
of static here.
9635 / 11650 / & 15770 all continuing at good levels.
13830 has disappeared.
