TURKEY. As first reported on Monday 17th in the WOR iog mail list by John
Jurasek (VORW) and Craig Tyson, the English Service of TRT The Voice of Turkey
have resumed their programming - that is, the broadcasts are no longer simply
relays of TV audio of TRT World. I listened on Tuesday and also confirmed that
the regular English presenters are back with VOT programming. It seems that
the programme schedule may have changed slightly compared to what was heard
before their hiatus with "Unscripted Twists of Fate" (previously heard on
Wednesdays) and a new programme "The First Quarter of the Millenium".

For anyone who's lost track of their English frequency schedule, it is:

  a.. 1330-1425 13635
  b.. 1730-1825 9660
  c.. 1930-2025 6050
  d.. 2130-2225 9610
  e.. 2300-2355 5960
  f.. 0400-0455 6125 7285
I'll update and re-upload the programme schedule to
https://app.box.com/s/kbdxb4c5lwpju0kpoi27aiwc35br2g2a (or for short:
http://tinyurl.com/shortwaveprograms) as soon as I am able to.
