Service. IS; 0256 IS w/ IDs in english by woman announcer (7275 and 6165 out);
0300 Time pips, ID and website; 0301 Starts news by same announcer; 0302 Abrupt
interruption, close carrier; At 0305, approximately, returns programming, now
on 7275 kHz, w/ good reception and news in progress (6165 and 9465 out here);
0310 ID and news continues, in slow english w/ accent; 0315 Man talking; 0322 A
song. Good reception: 45554.
This log was edited w/ the original frequency of A25 sked in english 7275 kHz,
emr. Glenn is correct in his observation!

** ASCENSION. 21645, May 25 at 1433, JBA S2/S3 in unID lang and the
OSOB. Would you believe that EiBi as of May 17 lists nothing between
21630 & 21660? Aoki is ahead in this case as of May 24: BBC Hausa via
ASC at 1300-1700 on day 7 only = Saturday for Aoki, but this is day 1
= Sunday, while for EiBi, day 1 = Monday! HFCC also has it for entire
A25 season, on day 7 = Saturday. HFCC file does not explicitly state
their days-of-week scheme, but numerous entries as 17 surely mean
Sunday & Saturday rather than Monday and Sunday. But there are some as
135, which would mean Sun/Tue/Thu rather than the more likely M/W/F. I
wonder if some HFCC registrants are just as confused about days of
week, entering them wrongly. It sure would be nice if all three major
references would agree on a single same DOW enumeration. At 1530,
21645 also audible into UTwente, sounds like coverage of a silly
ballgame; which might account for being active on Sunday, not just
Saturday (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** SPAIN. 17715, Sun May 25 at 1435, no signal direct from REE which
is supposed to start at 1400 on Sat & Sun for SAm. Others are on:
15500 NAm S3/S4, 15520 ME JBA carrier, 15390 Af JJBBA carrier. 17715
may well be on but not propagating in VP condx. By 1538 check into
UTwente, 17715.013 is certainly on, S9+10/15. This one is further
off-frequency than the others: 15520.001, 15500.001, 15389.991 (Glenn
