of presumably PARKED tx unit channels, like 17780kHz at different times of
the day. -
Or today June 8th at 09 - 10 UT only on 12015.002 kHz S=9+5dB signal noted
at 09.25 UT.
Then in 10 - 11 UT slot noted FIREDRAKE mx channel as 17720 kHz instead,
S=9 signal in JP Perseus SDR remotedly at 10.12 UT Sunday June 8th.

mainland SW transmitter recently ? - or their ingenieurs refurbished
their txs by exact alignment these days ?

VIETNAM VoV continues using a faulty transmitter.
7284.96 kHz VoVietnam Son Tay at 1133 UT in French with severe problems
in its transmission. Talk can be relatively easy to hear at most of the
time but there is a strange internal buzzer shown as a thick line of
?1000Hz at zoom out, that is divided into more than 14+ strings, once
zoomed in of ca 100 Hertz wide steps. There are also some siren like
sounds generated by variable strings of ca 500 Hertz steps which kill

or is in duty as jamming radio purpose mostly against religious outlets
meant towards Vietnam/Laos hilltribe audience target.

9634.998 kHz also VoVTN domestic home sce from Son Tay site in Vietnamese.
But technical-wise bad LOW MODULATION audio and some scratches in between
now and then ... S=9+15dB at 01.05 and 08.05 UT, requested 21.45-17.00 UT
txion time. Confirmed also on Kiwi SDR at Norwegian ham op LA6LU unit at
Cha-Am near Hua Hin King's beach resort.
11720even exact fqy, excellent audio performance from VoVTN domestic sce
at Son Tay, requested 21.45-17.00 UT. S=9+25dB stong excellent in Hong
Kong SDR or in Tokyo-JP or Hua Hin Thailand too.
7284.958 kHz much fqy oddity noted at 10.45 UT remotedly on Kiwi SDRs in
Thailand - like VE3HLS ham operator at So Phisai, or at Hong Kong and
Tokyo JP Perseus SDRs. Terrible audio modulation with accompanied 16x
100 Hertz apart distance buzzy audio strings on either sideband, and even
some 50 Hertz fqy distance strings whistling tones too. Scheduled to 1330.
7220.012 kHz clean VoVTN Mandarin Chinese sce excellent modulation, noted
10.30-17.00 UT, and also requested 20.30-22.30 UT too. S=9 in Hua Hin and
So Phisai Thailand remotedly too.
9840 kHz Vo VTN from Son Tay, switch-on and off many times at 10.56 UT,
seemingly Indonesian sce from 10.30 UT, centered than at 10.59 UT on
9839.960 kHz S=9+35dB signal in Hiroshima Akitakata Perseus SDR unit, as
Japanese 11.00-11.30 UT. ... and \\
12020 kHz even fqy same VoVTN service, S=9+25dB excellent audio quality

faulty spurious signals either sideband outlets. Noted on May 30 both
sidebands of 12020 kHz at 57 or 177 degr azimuth towards Asia azimuth,
scheduled 10.00 to 15.30 UT.
12020even VTN heavy QRM of upper flank VoVTN, Son Toy in English 13.45UT
unclear txion signal like a strong spurious signal some 28.444kHz distance
on either sides like 11991.556 and 12048.444 kHz and another spurious
of 56.889 kHz away distance on both spurs like 11963.111 and 12076.889 kHz

S8/S9; no 9300 but dead air carrier on 9304.902+ S8. At 1858, 5841 is
VG recalling previous broadcast of June 8, 1986 (Glenn Hauser, OK,

** EUROPE. Marconi R International supposed to be on at 1830-2030 June
8 on 7400, presumably Italy. At 1901 there is S8/9 of music into
UTwente on 7399.747-, but ACI from much stronger 7404.973+ at S9/+10.
