Listening just now, and a clean sweep of all stations as follows:

[image: image.png]
16331 Russian military single letter channel markers 0520 CW I'm
        hearing all but one channel markers tonight as follows: 'D'
        16331.7  Sevastopol (Russian occupied Crimea).  'P'  16331.8
        Kaliningrad.   'S'  16331.9 Severomorsk.   'C'  16332.0
        Moscow.   'A'  16332.1  Astrakhan.   'K'  16332.3
        Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.  'M'  16332.4 Magadan.   Missing is
        only 'F' on 16232.2 Vladivostok, which must be off the air.
        Nope! There it is at 05:45 with 'F' marker on 16232.2 after
        all, so a clean sweep of all channels! 4/Aug/2025 (Salmaniw,
        Masset, BC)

** BRAZIL. 11780, UT Tue Aug 5 at 0149, I luck out on a day the token
English is not run over by sports, which seemed to precede it with
excessive enthusiasm. Unfortunately I`m listening via the ``local``
SDR in ``Brasila`` which hardly gets a local-quality signal, only
S3/S7, so I can`t fully understand everything. YL voice is talking
about Dominican Republic musical influences on Brasil, mentions
sertanejo with snippet examples. 0154 it`s over already, outro
English, ID as RNB International Service, switch to Spanish, YL voice
but Brasilian accent, same subject, mentions cumbia, bolero, bachata.
0159 RNA Portuguese s/off, then IDs for MW and FM frequencies in Rio
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 7475, August 4 at 0517, JBA/carrier, presumed
Station YHWH. Have not heard exactly how he IDs lately, but letters
Y-H-W-H avoids the thorny issue of which vowels to insert, other wacky
religionists dispute over (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SPAIN. 15500, Mon Aug 4 at 2215, dead air in token English to N
America from SNR; but into UTwente the other three well audible:
15520.001 S9+20, 15389.992 S9+15 and 17715.014 S9+15 all into UTwente.
By 0020 direct, only 17715 remains on, VG direct. One wonders if each
antenna be hardwired into a certain transmitter; or can they choose
which beam is most dispensable? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 11785, Aug 4 at 2215, NO signal from VOT English for us,
into UTwente, nor accidentalternate 9875. Something`s always erroneous
at Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. LW/MW beacon bandscan, Aug 5 at 1410+ UT daytime, noise
level extreme, but reduced by maybe 1 S-unit by turning off a
household device, allows me to redetect/reconfirm several of my
regulars; including some carriers only indicated by ? previously IDed
occupants, with listed watts:
255 SW StillWater OK 25;
293 FBY FairBurY NE 25;
329 PMV PlattsMouth NE 25;
332 IC wIChita KS 400;
338 RYN? Tucson/RYaN AZ 400;
344 JL? JopLin MO 25;
384 ? [must be something else, since JB Lumberton/Jifel NC is only one
listed, 25 W; not reported since 11/24]?;
392 FMZ? FairMont/Beklof NE 25;
395 CA Newton/Harvs KS 25;
404 HU HUtchinson KS 25;
407 HRU HeRington KS 25;
419 ? [GB Great Bend KS 25]?;
420 PK? Olathe/Herbb KS 25;
515 PN PoNca City OK 25;
(Glenn Hauser, Enid OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2306 monitoring: confirmed Sunday
August 3 at 2112 the 2100 on WRMI 15770, S7/S9 but noisy into
UTwente.

Also confirmed Sunday August 3 from 2131 on SW Gold Radio, Germany,
6160.000- S8/S9 and 3975.002-, S9+5 into UTwente.

Also confirmed Sunday August 3 at 2300 on WRMI 9395, S9+10/20 direct.

Missed checking Sun Aug 3 at 2330 on WRMI 9475; anyone hear it?

Confirmed UT Monday August 4 at 0040 the 0030 on WRMI 7780, S9+35/40
into south TX SDR.

Not confirmed UT Mon Aug 4 circa 0300 on Area 51 webcast. Previous
program chopped at 0300 for 5130- s/off, but music continued on
webcast thru following hour, no WOR.?

Confirmed Monday August 4 at 1938 the 1931 on SW Gold Radio, Germany,
6160.001- S9/+20 and 3975.001+ S9/+15 into UTwente. Next:

0330 UT Tuesday WRMI 7780 to SW;
1300 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [also web-, phonecast];
1400 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [also web-, phonecast];
2000 UT Tuesday IRRS SW via AM Italia 1323 and/or 918;
2330 UT Tuesday SW Radio, Germany 3975;
0030 UT Wednesday WRMI 9395 to NNW [new];
1930 UT Wednesday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160;
2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW;
0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S;
1630 UT Thursday SW Radio, Germany 6160.

** U S A. 7570, Aug 4 at 0519, weather info including current? temp in
Miami and other cities, request music. Is this really live? System C
sked now shows `Legends` daily 0100-0600 on 5050 & 7570. But
transmitter grid atop shows Legends 01-04 on 5050, 04-06 on 7570, and
no longer scattered on other frequencies and times (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** U S A. Correxion! Originally wrote ``9320/9340``; fixed:
9930, July 30 at 2215, WTWW S9+40/50 direct, but NO
widespread splatter unlike yesterday, not even +/- 12.8 kHz discrete
spurs, just a bit of raised noise 9920/9940 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 780, UT Mon at 0526, WBBM with very familiar piece about
IVF, I had heard/seen 6 hours earlier on CBS TV, i.e. the soundtrack
of `60 Minutes` - yes, shown on hard to find plain old program
schedule on website?
https://www.audacy.com/stations/wbbm780/shows/show-schedule?
as 11 pm Sundays but this is 12+ am CDT Monday.?

On air, WBBM ignores AM frequency 780 for 105.9 branding, not so much
on web. BTW, per WTFDA FMDB, the *real* WBBM-FM is 96.3, only 3.3 kW
with ``rhythmic CHR`` format. 105.9 is really WCFS-FM in Elmwood Park,
only 4.1 kW, i.e. minuscule coverage compared to 780 tho 482 m HAAT.
In both FM cases, you`d think they could do much better. At least it`s
not a mere translator, as for so many ``FM`` AM stations (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 7235, Aug 4 at 0513, JBA carrier already on direct,
contrary to my previous remark that not before 0600. Still no idea
whence. QRhaM from QSO on 7238 LSB (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 7263 LSB, Aug 4 at 0515, QSO constantly interrupted by
naughty ham uttering ``*ucking losers`` and other rude remarx. Seemed
to have something to do with Drumpf. They ignore him as if can`t hear
him (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 7680, Aug 5 at 0022 UT, JBA carrier, can`t make out
enough modulation to // 960, but suspiciously = 960 x 8 = local KGWA.
Normally don`t hear much harmonicizing from it beyond 1920 or 2880.
Nor anything on 3840 now (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)?
