>From now and for an unknown time, at least for 3years, I will not use any
>radio except the remote SDRs for DXing. Recently wemoved from the village back
>to the city in a space that prohibits the use ofdesktop DXing, a place flooded
>by high levels of noise in the LMHF bands. Theradio is now used mostly for FM,
>for news listening.we run politically livelycondition with always very
>interesting twits every day ..

** CUBA. 15140, Sept 15 at 1901, JBA carrier, maybe RHC English,
nothing on 11760 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 9710, Sept 16 at 0629, RHC English is here, good signal so
late with YL talking, but nothing on 6000. No 9710 QRM now on a
Tuesday, but EiBi shows VATICAN on 9710 Sundays only 0605-0820 in
Ukrainian, Romanian; as well as 0440-0520 daily in Ukrainian, Russian.
Was 9710 RHC on all evening as early as 0100? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 15140 & 11760, Sept 16 at 1944, no RHC into Knoxville SDR
when RHC should be in English (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** TURKEY. 11785.004, Sept 15 at 2157, VOT not off the air, IS JBA
direct. At 2253 into UTwente when measured, S7/S9 VP and noisy, IS
until 2254.5* (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)?
** U S A. 305 MCW kHz, Sept 16 at 0647 UT, RO, 150-watt ND beacon at
ROswell NM, rarely heard, last logged Feb 22, 2025. Nothing else
unusual now in noise level and some of the `regulars` are inaudible
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2312 monitoring: confirmed Monday
September 15 at 1955 the 1931 on SW Gold Radio, Germany, 3975.002,
S8/9+5 into UTwente. But // 6160.005- is JBA with RTTYditty QRM on
plus side, both at UTwente and DL7APJ remotes. What`s this persistent
RTTY doing inside the exclusive 49m SWBC band?? Followed at 2000 by
`Night Air` lullaby in unknown language.?
Also confirmed UT Tuesday September 16 at 0330 on WRMI 7780, S9+15/22
into S Texas SDR.
Also confirmed Tuesday September 16 at 1300 on WRMI 9955, WOR theme
JBA direct; whew, was missing last week.
Also confirmed Tuesday September 16 at 1400 on WRMI 9955: unknown
direct, and nothing-but-noise at Bonaire SDR where it`s aimed, but VG
S9+16 into Knoxville SDR. Next:
2000 UT Tuesday IRRS SW via AM Italia 1323 and/or 918;
2330 UT Tuesday SW Radio, Germany 3975;
0030 UT Wednesday WRMI 9395 to NNW;

Thanks this week to Peter Robinson, Preston UK, for financial support,
not originally in US funds, via PayPal to woradio at yahoo.com
One may also contribute via money order or check on a US bank to:
Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 17790 Sept 15 at 1859, ``Radio Africa Network from WRMI
studios``, not exactly a legal ID but better than nothing, heard
direct, preceded and followed by music; cf. my earlier report at
0417-0600+ of Radio PanAm. But 24 hours later, nothing on 17790 Sept
16 at 0352, 0455, 0543 chex. Was that really WRMI? (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)
** U S A. 12050, Sept 15 at 1902, zero signal from WEWN Spanish. ?Is
anyone hearing it lately? Still no signal at 2327 into Bonaire. Of
course that would be tantamount to propagating Catholicism via a
Protestant SDR (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. I`m not the only one DXing 5 kW `daytimer` KKOJ recently:
>From ARC mv-eko Sept 15: ``1190 13.9 0300 KKOJ Jackson MN ensam p?
frekvensen och drog ett utf?rligt ID, nx, wx och ett ?True Country
KKOJ? p? tre minuter blankt. CW sen.? Kul ?terlogg! BOS = Bo Olofsson,
Furu?grund ? CloudIQ + 930 m Beverage i 295 grader`` (via Glenn
Hauser, WOR)
** U S A. 1540 kHz, Sept 16 at 0700 UT, 98.7 FM mentioned. Only match
in NRC AM Log is KBOA Kennett MO in the SE corner, U1 1000/3 watts.
I`ve heard before: see log of Aug 17, 2021. Terry Krueger, NW FL also
heard it recently: ``1540 MISSOURI KBOA, Kennett 0740 2 SEP 2025 Very
poor with The Carpenters oldie, faded, back top of hour with an ID and
into CBS News, fade. Returning later with an Eric Carmen song. Presume
tiny cheating at 1000 watts vs. 3 watts`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
