New:
RHO Radio Horizon, same QRGs as Radio Delta. RHO NOT in HFCCs fmorg.txt list,
very strange. Tx location: Ankum, not far away from Elburg. Needs further
investigation.

another in same state, XESW, Ciudad Madera, 5 kW day, unknown night
power until 0400, hardly ever reported but Tim Hall had it almost a
year ago on typo frequency 980 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)?
** PUERTO RICO. ``You also mentioned hearing 391 DDP in Puerto Rico.
Some NDBs have a backup transmitter, which DDP does, and it
periodically switches to the backup TX. It's been on the backup past 6
weeks or so, and that one is unique with its +/-650 Hz offsets
compared to the normal TX's +/-1030 Hz. So the backup is all by itself
if one uses CW mode and a 500 Hz or smaller IF filter. For me, the
+650 side is always stronger, I don't know why, but I hear it better

Kah-She Island - In Georgian Bay, Ontario (one of the Great Lakes) -
The little Island heard around the world. EN95WC. Amateur radio
station VA3KAH is located on Kah-She Island in Georgian Bay, Ontario.
Four continuous CW radio beacons are located on the island, on 44, 22,
12, and 10 meters. The beacons operate 24 / 7 and are unattended from
November to May. The Beacon Stations:
Thanks to its location far from shore in one of the Great Lakes, Kah
She Island is considered an exotic beacon location and is highly
prized by listeners from around the world. We try to provide
propagation information by operating a number of micro-power to higher
powered beacons on several bands. These include:
44 m 6783.4 MHz in the ISM band "VA3KAH/B"? (dipole @ 18')
22 m 13566 MHz in the ISM band "KAH"? (vertical @ 12')
12 m 24927 MHz 50 watts output (dipole at 32')
10 m 28168 MHz 10 watts output (vertical @ 48')

all listeners. Note that from Oct 15, Taiwan says its Spanish
broadcast at 0100 will change from 5800 to 17790, not mentioning WRMI
- so will it come back on at 0100 or stay on from 2200+? (Glenn

** TURKEY. 11785.004, Oct 13 at 2158, VOT IS & ID, S9/+10 direct, but
at 2220 JBM: something`s always erroneous at Emirler. At 2243 into
UTwente when measured, music S9+20/30; 2247 multi-lingual ID filler
reel, music; 2253 s/off as if 17620 from 1230, awry at Ankara. 2254 IS
to 2255.3* (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2316 monitoring: confirmed Monday
October 13 from 1931.7 on SW Gold Radio, Germany, 3975.001-, S9/+5
into UTwente; and 6159.999+, S9/+10 but JBA with RTTYditty on plus
side.
NOT confirmed UT Tuesday October 14 at 0330 on WRMI 7780: instead,
``halleluyah`` from an unknown gospel huxter in English. Partially
updated skedgrid still shows Wavescan at this slot, altho WOR had
really been airing for many months!
Checking the entire WRMI skedgrids, I see a new previously unknown WOR
time which will need confirmation: Saturday 1530 UT on System B 9955.
That happens to be just before Sat 1600 on 9395 & 7730 from WRN.
Also UT Monday at 0030 on System D 7780 as before, but also: UT Monday
0030 on System K 9455, to be confirmed. Next:
