They are ? probably -

facing heavy ICING and snowfall on their long feeder lines and antennas
between TX house,

result in mixing audio feed content

as INTERMODULATIONS between the various different TX / ANT

as happened often at Kujang in past decade.

ps.
This does not affect the schedule of languages

once the inclement weather has improved on the Kujang location.

Wow, fellas! Thank you for the extensive list of offsets. Very helpful to
have an up to date list of offsets into that region. 73, Walt

I was wondering about the site for 702 BBC - as Iran already has/had a 500 kW
on 702; what became of it? So BBC is Oman, surely not Saudi Arabia. Glenn

I checked at 2030 and I get it as 702.0000 kHz. Usual BBC/Encompass quality!
Best regards,
Mauno

Correct, Glenn. I wasn't sure of the site, myself, and that's why I asked
the question. Good to have that cleared up! 73, Walt

** CANADA. 300 MCW kHz, Feb 6 at 0743, dash and YIV, 500-watt NDB at
Island Lake MB (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 11880, Feb 6 at 0726, S5/S7 of dead air, presumably RHC, a
frequency of theirs much earlier, and nothing else listed now. Gotta
run at least one transmitter pointlessly into the night. Something`s
always wrong at RHC. Standard remark about how the cost of all that
wasted juice could better be applied to improving the diet of
undernourished Cubans (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** KOREA NORTH. 9875, Feb 6 at 0719, S5/S6 singing, presumably VOK in
Russian as scheduled. Did not seem significantly off-frequency (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 9025 AM, Fri Feb 6 at 1550, listening via IL remote,
no signal, but cuts on S5/S7 at *1553 ``presidential pirate`` with JFK
inaugural speech JIP. Previous logs have been a few minutes before
1600; maybe this is on more often, last caught Feb 4. And he`s cut off
the air at 1558*. I let it run past 1619 in case it cut back on but
not --- until *1639 back to JFK JIP, gone again after a few minutes.
*1654-1658* on again with fragment of JFK. Apparently from old
documentaries; again at *1711-1713* bit of FDR announced as from 1936.
*1728-1730* another bit, different voice, ``so help me god`` - an oath
of office. *1739.5 back on with a bit of JFK, soon off. Well, that`s
enough of that. These bits certainly do not do justice to significant
historical events (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 407 MCW kHz, Feb 6 at 0759 UT, AQ, mixing JBA with my
strongest near-local, HRU in Herington KS. AQ is 25 watts from `Kooky`
Appleton WI, new for me (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 1340 kHz, Feb 6 circa 0800, 0900, 1200 UT, no DX test
detected from KTOX Needles CA, nor really expected direct and I`m
mainly sleeping during the entire 6 hours, but checked upon awakening.
There was a huge amount of confusion about the correct scheduling,
involving PST conversion to UT, which days of week. Several others did
hear this. Another one is scheduled 24 hours later, 08-14 UT Sat Feb 7
from KTPI 1340 Mojave CA. At 1200 UT I was hearing Mexmx on 1340, and
ID break but could not copy it. Perhaps KCCE San Angelo TX, see report
of Jan 11 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

This report dispatched at 2150 UT February 6
