** CANADA. 15034 USB, May 25 at 2149, Trenton Military VOLMET back to
plain USB, no reduced carrier as there was around 1400 today (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CHINA. 17820, May 25 at 2146, open carrier S8/+10 direct. This
matches nicely the Aoki listing of CNR-11 Tibetan starting at *2155
from Dongfang, Hainan site. HFCC & EiBi show 17820 continuously from
0505 to 0205. But makes no sense to be aiming 16 degrees from there in
SE China as in HFCC for CIRAF target 44NW which is NE China.
Propagationally, I am not at all sure this be coming from the NNW as
from SE China, rather than NNE from e.g. East Turkistan. Please run
TDOA on this; I`m having trouble getting that to work (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** IRAN [non]. 15765, May 26 at 0629, JBA signal, presumably per EiBi,
Iran International TV at 04-19 via BULGARIA. Nothing now on other side
of WRMI, 15775 from CNR1/SOH (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** ITALY. 18140 USB, May 25 at 2141, two in northern Italy take turns
working DX stations in USA such as KE2HRO, and a J8: Ermy, IK4POI and
IU4VLX. QRZ.com:
``IK4POI Italy flag Italy, (KE2AYR), ERMANNO "ERMY" RONCHETTI, 41100
MODENA MO, IT 4110, Italy; IU4VLX Italy flag Italy, Stefano Campi, Via
Grande o Rosa 337, SOLIERA, MO 41012, Italy`` Once again, no signals
on higher hambands (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. RF 17, May 25 at 2248 UT, I notice that K17JN-D, the
multi-channel 3ABN satellator in Enid always mis-IDing as K17JI-D, is
off the air again. Believe I may have noticed it still on the air a
day or two ago. It has had protracted absences before, but now it may
be gone for good, as has applied to move it to Oklahoma City. FWIW, it
had been Enid`s only local TV signal, still able to penetrate my
broken antenna. Facility ID: 181675. In FCC LMS, that leads to this
latest application, dated Dec 18, 2025:

https://enterpriseefiling.fcc.gov/dataentry/public/tv/draftCopy.html?displayType=html&appKey=25076f919b21bf86019b231dd28807bf&id=25076f919b21bf86019b231dd28807bf&goBack=N

including:
Application Type Fee Code Fee Amount
Major Modification MOL $910.00

ARDMORE, OK 73601

And including this antenna location with 15 kW:
Coordinates (NAD83)
Latitude 35? 24' 54.2" N+
Longitude 097? 30' 38.1" W-
which is certainly in Oklahoma City, not Enid (nor Ardmore). On
googlemaps, those coords lead to
a spot on SE 50th St, just east of Santa Fe, the N/S dividing street,
and just west of a tower on a Tyler media property.

Rabbitears.info shows this tower info:
5005 S SHIELDS BLVD
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK

Channel Call Sign City of License AGL Record Type
HAAT Power Antenna Make/Model

17-1 (17) K17JN-D Oklahoma City, OK 467' LPD-CP 453'
15 kW DA ERI ALP8L7-HSMR-17

36-1 (36) KUOK-CD OKLAHOMA CITY, OK 554' DCA-STA
541' 7.33 kW DA SWR SWLP16OI/36

43-1 (30) K34NE-D Oklahoma City, OK 492' LPD-CP 479'
15 kW ND DIE TUL-04

That implies K17JN-D is already licensed to OKC? But it`s always been
in Enid! At least for r-e purposes, even tho it`s 100 km away, Enid is
a subset of OKC market, like Concho, Norman, etc.

I inquired of the sccsolutions address above whether it would come
back in Enid or move to OKC. Reply from Rodney Phillips: ``Thank you
for contacting me. Currently there is an issue with the electrical
that should be resolved shortly. Our intention is to stay in Enid,
however I would like to move from that tower location because there
are constant issues. I?m not having much luck finding another tower in
the area. Sent from my iPhone``

It`s still off the air at 1515 UT May 26 (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)

** TURKEY. 11785, May 25 at 2159, VOT not off the air, S9/+10 on meter
direct but JBA with 2200 timesignal (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2348 monitoring: confirmed Monday
May 25 from 1930.8 on SW Radio Gold, Germany, 6160.002- S9/+10 and
3975.000+ S9+5/15 both into UTwente.

Also confirmed UT Tuesday May 26 at 0330 on WRMI 5850, S9+30 into
Georgia SDR, as programming switches abruptly from `Freedom Synergy
Radio` in Spanish, which continues on 7780.

Also confirmed Tuesday May 26 at 1300 on WRMI 9955, S3/S5 direct.

Also confirmed Tuesday May 26 at 1400 on WRMI 9955, JBA in HNL.

Also confirmed Tuesday May 26 at 2020 the 2000 on IRRS SW via AM
Italia, 1322.994-, S8.5 into UTwente. Next:

2230 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [also web-, phonecast];
2330 UT Tuesday SW Radio, Germany 3975;
0030 UT Wednesday WRMI 9395 to NNW;
1930 UT Wednesday SW Radio, Germany 3975, 6160;
2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW;
2330 UT Wednesday WRMI 9395 to NNW;
1630 UT Thursday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160;
2330 UT Thursday WRMI 5950 to NNW.

Financial support appreciated for this non-commercial public service
program: by MO or check on a US bank in US funds to:
Glenn Hauser, PO Box 1684, Enid OK 73702

Or via PayPal not necessarily in US funds, to: woradio at yahoo.com
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** VATICAN. 15595, May 26 at 0628, Arabic S9+25 direct, and
``LIX`` so it`s VR as sked going from Arabic to French at 0630,
250 kW at 110 degrees, certainly the SSOB from Europe despite
backwardness (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 1560, May 26 at 0635 UT, `Our Miss Brooks` outro credits
on `When Radio Was` mixing with Vietnamese from KGOW TX. Same problem
as in last Oct 2 log: you have to hunt state-by-state. KBEW MN and
KZQQ TX are 1560s carrying WRW but not at this time? KBEW is
supposedly a 1 kW daytimer. There could be others if I checked every
state individually for a 1560 affiliate (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 1650 kHz, May 26 at 0633 UT, tone of about 330 Hz
accompanies some station. Per this, E above middle C = 329.63 Hz:

https://mixbutton.com/music-tools/frequency-and-pitch/music-note-to-frequency-chart
Still suspecting KSVE El Paso of tonality (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 21720, May 25 at 2140, JBA carrier is the OSOB. Only
thing listed in HFCC, Aoki and EiBi is 0200-0330 R. Pilipinas. Could
be another CNR1 jamming/SOH frequency (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
