DX/SWL/MEDIA PROGRAMS updated June 18 http://www.worldofradio.com/dxpgms.html
Correcting date on this in last report, June 17 not 16! ** SPAIN. 17715, Wed June 17 at 2225, S9/+10 of deadair in token English, direct from REE`s weekly, and still dead at 2338 after English, and still2 at 2441, S9+20/30 into Georgia SDR. Something`s nullified at Noblejas. Fortunately, 15500 at S9+20/30 and 15520 at S9+10/20 already managed to modulate from start of English, tuned in at 2201, while 15390 remains AWOL. It seems Daniel is doing all the announcing this week with his extremely heavy accent. Topix included: refugees in Canarias, Zapatero to prove innocence, Sánchez branded a co-ward. Mrs. Sánchez to be tried by jury. Pope Leo XIV has left after seven hectic days visiting Spain, speaking Catalan at Barcelona, finally to Canarias. US/Iran peace agreement; 2213-2216 Beirut correspondent on Israel still striking Lebanon; G7 summit as I tune out for some hamscanning (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2352) WORLD OF RADIO 2351 monitoring: correcting date to Wed June 17, not 16! Confirmed Wednesday June 17 at 2330 on WRMI 9395, S9+30/35 into Georgia SDR. ** CUBA. 11760, June 18 at 1445, RHC `Sonido Cubano` music is S7/S9 but overmodulatedistorted; SAWA. 11760, June 18 at 1918, undermodulated with howl, S6/S7 sounds more like Spanish than English (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. Thanks this week to Gerald T. Pollard, Raleigh NC, for a generous seasonal check on a US bank for Summer Solstice, to Glenn Hauser, PO Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 Or one may support this non-commercial public service program via PayPal not necessarily in US funds, to: woradio at yahoo.com (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 780, June 18 at 0640 UT, WBBM Chicago seems off, no signal for StarDate, like last night, while Chi 670/720/890 are loud and clear as usual; but then WBBM fades up a bit with SD, yet unreadable in storm noise level. Must be on reduced power, antenna problem, or something (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2352) ** U S A. 1150 kHz, June 18 at 0643 UT, SRN News, atop C2CAM on KSAL Salina KS, which normally dominates 1150 at night, beaming thisaway. NRC AM Log shows only one 1150 with SRN: WGGH Marion IL, U4 5000/44 watts. This is certainly credible, close enough, if `testing` on day power. Both day and night patterns are slightly oval N/S, no notches. At 0644 cut to deadair, or off? Leaving KSAL (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) This report dispatched at 0111 June 19 _ Hard-Core-DX mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/hard-core-dx http://www.hard-core-dx.com/ _______________________________________________ THE INFORMATION IN THIS ARTICLE IS FREE.
