** BRAZIL. 11780, June 20 at 0727, RNA music at S9, but no signal on
6180. Close to sign-on time, I think, when I am rarely tuning this
late. English & Spanish presumably to follow at 0750 (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** CANADA [and non]. 401 MCW kHz, June 20 at 0650 UT, dash and YPO, ND
beacon is JBA. RNA signals list shows 125 watts from Peawanuck ON.
Conditions vs summer noise level have slightly improved, also hearing
YXL on 346, and some Americans not audible for weeks: PMV, ODX and
FMZ. YPO was last logged Feb 21, 2026; see my report of that date
recounting how it had not been heard since 2021 (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** CHINA. 11640, June 20 at 0724, slow Chinese, lang lesson? Aoki
shows CRI Cantonese this hour from Jinhua 831 site (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** MARTINIQUE. 4812 approx., June 20 at 0711, the uteblob is back,
presumably FUF, to QRM Per? 4810, except not even a JBA carrier from
that now (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** MEXICO [and non]. 1700 kHz, June 20 at 0700, Mexican NA, choral, is
JBA vs weakies in English. Got to be XEPE Tecate BCN where it`s
midnight PDT, a 10/10 kW TuDN Deportes outlet. Still no sign of
Richardson/Metroplex TX, KKLF/KTNO not yet activated (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** NEW ZEALAND. 9700, June 20 at 0722, VG S9+, now here needing lower
MUF at midwinter, ex-11725. Current sked shows: 0659-1058 daily, then
7245 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** POLAND [non]. 5850, June 20 at 0713, Polish Radio External Service,
distinctive accent of announcer, about relations with Ukraine, from
WRN daily at 07-08, VG via WRMI (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2352 monitoring: at 0244 UT
Saturday June 20 I reported: ``WTWW 5085 was not on by 0100 UT
Saturday, nor for quite a while, but I just noticed it at 0241 with
T2P, so WORLD OF RADIO 2352 should be forthcoming at 0300.`` But at
0304: ``No, it`s last week`s 2351, not 2352 - Glenn`` Bob Biermann
assures me he loaded the correct episode, so WTWW must not be
using his feed.

** U S A. 7505, Sat June 20 at 0717, WRNO unusually on way late with
S9+20 of gospel huxter in English (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 590, June 20 at 0651 UT, rock music, unseems as strong as
Omaha used to be, but checking since this report at 0152 via ABDX,
IRCA:

``First noted this afternoon, doing exactly what I suspected they
might eventually do ? simulcasting Walnut Media's "Boomer Radio",
already heard on KXCB-1420 (as of a few weeks ago) and KIBM 1490. At a
Boomer Radio listener party back on April 25, I asked Walnut Media
President/CEO Patrick Combs about the recent purchase of the 590
frequency. Not wanting to divulge too much, he said with a wry smile,
"Changes ARE coming. As they say in the business, 'Stay tuned for
further developments.'" Because the legal ID recording has not been
changed yet, the company, for now, is simply dropping in the
following: "Boomer Radio on AM 590, WOW, Omaha". I don't know if this
means that Walnut Media was successful in their effort to petition the
FCC to bring back the nostalgic calls, but one has to wonder. IMHO,
they wouldn't be mentioning "WOW" with no mention of "KXSP" if they
hadn't been. 590 in Omaha had been dark for 1 day short of 4 months.
73, Rick Dau, South Omaha, Nebraska`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** VANUATU. 5040, June 20 at 0712, JBA presumably R. Vanuatu, trying
hard not to be heard this far away instead of 9960 or 7260 (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 720.12 approx., June 20 at 0707 UT. LAH upon WGN during
TOSOM. Nothing near here in mwoffsets (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 1240 kHz, June 20 at 0702 UT, strong dominant signal
with sports talk, in what is normally a graveyard pileup; faded down
in a couple minutes. Not // 1640 KZLS, so not Fox SR, rather ESPN.
Probably my closest, KFH Wichita KS, 630/630 watts. Why would it be
powered down from 1000? (Glenn Hauser, Enid OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 9236.0, June 20 at 0719, weak open carrier and clix
every 3 seconds, which can be detected out to plus/minus 15 kHz,
9221/9521. What is this? Center frequency always ends in -6 (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

This report despatched at 1616 UT June 20

** MEXICO [and non]. Some sporadic E FM DX might have happened but
nothing heard in bandscans June 20 at 1644-1702 and circa 1804 UT.
DXMAPs showed someone in Zapopan, a suburb of Guadalajara, getting DX
