after some pop music, `Letterbox` starts, with Cemre. Altho she does
not have a heavy accent, and speaks carefully, in less than perfect
reception with fades, I still have trouble understanding her,
especially when mentioning unfamiliar names and places. Opening
comments something about traffic being obstructed next week in Ankara.
Turkey beat US in WCup. 1) Mr Marek? --?, Poland, sent two postcards,
one about a MW tower that reaches the US and NZ. 2) Siddartha
Papajarjee, W Bengal, report on 11660 at 1630, SIO 433 - so I wonder
what caused the 3-level QRM? 3) Annan Bane?, SWL club, India, heard
17620 via UTwente, wants address of 14-y-o Eric to send stamps,
postcards; something about World Cup. 4) -- Tanaka, 14-y-o in
Ichikawa? Chiba pref., Japan, listened to Chinese. 5) Chakraborty, New

supposed to last until 0400 with `SW Saturday Night`; no other
frequencies on except algo on 5130- which should be `The Lost Discs
Radio Show` - and 5129.97 is *still* on very late at 0643 with
unreadable talk. Websked still shows 2300-0300 and only on weekends

** U S A. 97.3, June 28 at 1606 UT, checking for possible Es DX, finds
some stronger signals, but apparently enhanced groundwave rather than
skip, such as this one IDing as ``Continuous country, Q97`` and again
at 1613 -- depending on the punxuation, there are three possibilities
in the WTFDA FM DB. Stations should be required to utter ``hyphen`` if
there be one, and don`t confuse with a dash which is more than one
hyphen; or ``space`` if there be one. Afraid I have to assume the last
one, in nearby KS:
