me to get it all researched and compiled (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 5025, July 19 at 0645, R. Rebelde S9+30/40 of deadair, but
proclaiming ``we`ve got power!`` to waste (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** EAST TURKISTAN. 17615, July 19 at 0653, S3/S4 of Chinese? music

** MEXICO [and non]. Sporadic E FM DX session on the caradio, July 18
at 1625-1654, 1735-1818, 1914-1916 UT:

92.1 at 1631, SS music $tereo, 1632 SS announcement JBA

92.1 at 1635 ``here in Sonny`s 24/7 Stop`` - is this KFXY Marlow OK,
one of the default weaksigs? Searching finds BBQ joints in Dallas but
not OK. And not open 24/7, presumably truckstop. Of course it could be
some other name, like Sunny?

97.3 at 1638, 612 area code mentioned and about a rodeo; but 1639, AC
620 which is KS, ads for Scott City, etc. 612 is Minneapolis MN area.
Two MNs on 97.3 are in Duluth & Starbuck, neither near M`polis,

Yuma? No 92.1s

92.1 at 1652, ``at Walton, Sonny`s 24/7``, then mention OKC,
Bricktown. Was it really Lawton? Don`t think so. Was it really Sonic?
Don`t think so.

87.9 resuming at 1735, SS $ music, 1736 segué, 1737 maybe ID but

87.9, satellator in NV, not Spanish, and Cayman Islands. At 1756, $ SS
music. At 1803, SS $ about an event in el zócalo de Puebla, Radio

Next check for Es at 2306: 91.9 $ C&W unID

94.3 at 2311 UT, KSPI translator is on, but source KSPI AM 780 is off!
Daytimer but long before sunset.

Next Es DX session from 0138 UT July 19, mainly Michigan, Ontario,
later Saskatchewan, yet to be compiled and researched. Morning of July
19 lots more Es to east of me, with very high MUF spikes, 200 MHz? But
not quite reaching here by 1900 (Glenn Hauser, Enid OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. Some incidental OK obs included in MEXICO+ above

** OKLAHOMA. 107.1, KNID Enid stayed in deadair hour after hour July
18, first noticed at 1626 UT, and still past 2100 so I left a radio
tuned to silence with volume up, and on it pops at *2130 starting with
ID as if intentional (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)

** SOUTH CAROLINA [non]. Re Brother Scare overcoming KRLD 1080:
``Glenn: Our Chicago local WNWI-1080 carries this after midnight CDT
(0500 UTC). -----Karl Forth`` - so I check again the next night, July
19 at 0642 UT, only KRLD, but by 0719 I am again hearing TOMBS almost
as strong as KRLD and // 5920 WTWW, YL talking now rather than BS
himself.

WNWI Oak Lawn IL is U2 5000/2600 watts. ND day pattern has a slight
bulge to the SW rather than into Lake MI as one would expect, but
night pattern goes mostly NNW with notches thisaway; brokered, ``Super
Ethnic Station``, so probably various languages in addition to
Southcarolinese (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 11660, Sun July 19 at 1640, no VOT English signal into
UTwente, when it`s time for a new `Letterbox`. Something`s erroneous
at Emirler. Maybe catch it later: yes, next broadcast at 1830 on
9750.005+, VG S9+30/45 into UTwente. Tune-in at 1858, `Letterbox`
already underway; maybe catch first part later? Bain/Bane in India; 2)
Klepov, Russia wants another QSL; 3) Paul/Pol?, W Bengal his 96th
report. 4) Andre, Russia. 5) Breyel, Malaysia. 6) Mr Albanese,
Palermo, Italy. Now after 1900 there is ACI from Chinese music on
9745, probably another CRI filler language; not in EiBi or Aoki until
1930. 7) Hasegawa, Japan, listens on beach 5 minutes from home.
Closing refers to a meeting of 500 listeners in Chennai in August.
1911 theme (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2356 monitoring: confirmed Saturday
July 18 at 2102 the 2100 on WRMI 9395, S9+5/30 into Georgia SDR.

Also confirmed Saturday July 18 at 2230 on WRMIs 17790, S9 direct and
15770 S7/8 direct.

S9+30/40 direct about 13 minutes into so the 0315v began circa 0315.

Also confirmed Sunday July 19 at 0641 the 0630 on WRN via WRMI, 5850
VG >> 7780, and presumably JBA carrier 7730; after having been
replaced by `Legends` last week. Due to several frequency outages, I
think WRMI has been moving certain programs to other frequencies
temporarily in compensation, without making this clear in schedules or
FB.

Also confirmed Sunday July 19 at 1030 on WRN via WRMI 9395 S9+ and
weaker 7780.

Also confirmed Sunday July 19 at 1900 on IRRS SW via AM Italia,
1322.994, S9+5/10 into nearby Noale SDR; JBA into UTwente. Next:

yahoo.com

One may also contribute by money order or check on a US bank to:
Glenn Hauser, PO Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 7505, Sun July 19 at 0647, WRNO S9+20/30 with gospel music
on late again, unlike last few nights (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 15555 USB, as of July 19, WJHR unheard in daily daytime
bandscans. Last report I find was June 14 by Mark Taylor, WI, who then
said it was back on after a fairly long pause. And see my report of
June 13 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 570, July 19 at 0658 UT, weather and ID from WNAX, Yankton
SD; what became of KLIF Dallas, no sign of it? KLIF is U4 5000/2400,
day pattern puts Enid within fringe contour, and even slightly into
KS. Night pulled in to north but not a notch. WNAX in the SE corner of
SD is U2 5000/5000. Night pattern favors the N/NW with notch but not
deep toward the S (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** UNIDENTIFIED. 630.1 kHz, July 19 at 0659 UT, het upon 630.0
religious music from KYFI St Louis. Maybe this as in MWoffsets:
630,09 MEX XEFB Arre en Acustik (Monterrey) 2025-08-27
