The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
Just because it's Friday folks doesn't mean that we've stopped working here at
Hardball...Oh, quite the contrary...We've turned up the heat! You may want to call
your date right now and postpone that dinner date until after 8 pm et when you see
this lineup!
Israeli Counsel General Alon Pinkas v. Palestinian Rep to the UN Nasser Al-Kidwa in
the B block...In the D & E blocks we'll bring back Kanafani and Barak from
yesterday...Remember that segment? Only this time we're putting them on together.
After we went to break last night, Barak said "Hey Chris can I respond to what
Kanafani said?, so Phil, our Executive Producer, jumped in and said to Barak, "We'll
put you on tomorrow night together and you can have at it with Kanafani for a half
hour" and Barak said "cool" (I'm paraphrasing, of course)...So there you go...It
promises to be hot folks, trust me on this.
Dare I call it the "Rumble in Ramallah" edition of Hardball?
F Block will be Dersh on torturing Al Qaeda suspects....We were supposed to do that
last night but the "best laid plans of mice and men....." Dersh is for it and proposes
that we issue "torture warrants" to interrogators...Whether you love him or hate him,
Dersh is never boring!
