The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
OK, so I'm putting the newsletter out late once again...I had to put together the
entire back half of the show, and of course Chris wanted to change much of what I had
laid out so we scrambled at the last minute to rewrite the scripts and elements (sound
bites and full screen graphics)...It didn't turn out exactly as I had wanted but
that's the nature of life and cable television...But rest assured when you see
Hitchens slam Sharpton you'll dig it...Yes, we've got not only Hitchens and Sharpton
on tonight but we also got Falwell and Caddell for the full back half!!!! It doesn't
get any better than that...
We'll continue to do the "big story" on the pre 9-11 warnings of course..
I know you have to go out tonight and do Friday night fun things but I urge you to set
your VCR or Tivo or whatever they call it these days...It's a hot one folks..
Oh yeah, we've got Senators Kyl and Cleveland...Plus Craig Crawford from the Hotline
will do the political fallout on all this...I tell all new interns when they come to
Washington to "read the Hotline and Roll Call" everyday if they really want to know
this town...
Have a fun weekend...Dominic
