The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
OK, so the big question this afternoon is: What did you think? Like me, I'm sure you
all watched the new MSNBC lineup with great anticipation...Hit "reply" to this e-mail
and let it rip...I want the good, the bad, the ugly and the truly memorable...Of
course I loved it but then again, I'm an MSNBC partisan...Tonight, the big guns will
fire again...Dig this lineup: Lott, Thompson and Biden...And that's just the first
couple of segments! I'd like to see the "other guys" top that!
Mortman's "C" block (yes, the "C" block is back folks) will include, but of course is
not limited to, Arnold's musings about running for Gov in California...Kathleen
Kennedy-Townsend's latest ad in Maryland touting her connection to her famous father
and David Geffen's beach front property story (see WSJ hard copy)...
The D block debate will truly be a junkies' paradise: Should Al Gore run for President
in '04?? Rep. Harold Ford, Jr. says YES...Author Christopher Hitchens says NO...We'll
roll the Shuster setup package at the top of the segment...
And the Buzz will, of course, be former Vice President Dan Quayle on "Murphy Brown"
ten years later...As you know, she conceded last week that Quayle was right all those
years ago on the famous "Family Values" speech...We'll get his reaction...
Another big night at Hardball folks...9 & 12 midnight et tonight, exclusively on
MSNBC, America's NewsChannel..
