Btw, speaking of hot stuff...This little sugar plum was leaked to a Buchanan & Press
producer by an anonymous source...Well, "leaked" is a bit strong...The Houston
Chronicle reported on it today but it was shared with us...
"In 1992, Rove was fired as a consultant for the Bush-Quayle Texas campaign, after
officials suspected that he was the source for a column by Novak and Roland Evans that
portrayed the Texas presidential operation as in disarray. Rove was accused of making
up the story because of a feud with the campaign's chairman, Rob Mosbacher Jr., whom
the column reported, erroneously, was to be dumped." (The Houston Chronicle)

relentlessly tracked the recall campaign on his daily MSNBC show "Hardball" and on the

I would add such adjectives as dogged and indefatigable..
Your friend and mine David Shuster asked that I convey this Dispatch from the Left
Coast...
Tonight, I was walking out of our hotel (The Renaissance on Hollywood and Highland)
when I had my first up close and personal observation with "Hollywood" celebs... A
very "animated" Quentin Tarantino (sp?) was trying to convince a very cute Lisa Liu to
come party at Tarantino's place. They were both hanging out in front of their limos
(Tarantino had a premier around the corner, according to one of the more knowledgeable
bell hops.) Anyway, I sat quietly by the entrance and eavesdropped. It sounded like
Lisa Liu (did I say how cute she is?) was politely giving Tarantino "the heisman."
But in any case, I was struck by how short the actress is... and how goofy Tarantino
is in real life. Anyway, there you go... our hotel is a happenin place. Hope all is
well in dc.

PS Californians are watching a lot of cable tv these days... the maitre d' at Mel's
diner in Hollywood stopped me last weekend and said, "hey David, you done with work
already today? Who's gonna win the recall?" I said, "MSNBC."
Yo dig this...Everybody's favorite pollster has a new show "America's Voices"
