The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
Hardball airs tonight on MSNBC at 7, 11 & 2 am and simultaneously out west at 4, 8 &
11 pm....
Tonight's one of those big "slice and dice" nights as President Bush takes to the Rose
Garden to address the continued violence in Iraq and the general state of affairs in
the ongoing reconstruction process...We'll run the highlights and kick it around with
Senator Trent Lott, Bush Re-elect strategist Ralph Reed and some other folks
TBD...Norah was there and got a question in about the May 1st USS Abe Lincoln "Mission
Accomplished" and whether that was premature...POTUS basically said "go back and read
my words"...He also suggested the "Mission Accomplished" banner was the Navy's idea,
not his...We'll try to work the bite in tonight...
Howard will definitely be here and we'll go through the presser and put some polls and
such together...Luntz will be in the Buzz as well...
For the D block we'll do the issue of the 9/11 documents and whether the White House
will give up the sensitive documents to that investigative commission....
