            The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------

Hardball airs tonight at 7, 11 pm & 4 am et and 4, 8 & 1 am pt on MSNBC

Break out the TV trays alert night!! Order your favorite carryout food, pop the
popcorn, you know the drill...This is one of those cable news nights made for junkies
like us!

Clearly the big story tonight is Gore's endorsement of Dean...We'll slice and dice it
from every angle possible with some of the biggest names in the business...As is
typical with a big day like this, our ducks aren't totally in order so I don't want to
drop a lot of names and then disappoint you when they don't show up...We'll have one
show planned at 9 am, one at Noon and then change it all by 3 or 4...That's the nature
of our business..

Some of the strategists we'll tap into for sure are Caddell, Buchanan, Dean's guy
Steve McMahon, DeDe Meyers, Donna Brazile & Howard...

We're taping Jimmy Carter today and Thomas Friedman today...Friedman will air tonight,
Carter tomorrow...Friedman's got a new Discovery special on the wall in Israel airing
tomorrow night...We'll get a preview...

Tonight is all the kind of night which separates the booking men & women from the
booking boys & girls
