The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
Special Programming Note: Live Dem Debate from Greenville, SC hosted by Brokaw
exclusively on MSNBC tonight at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT...
Folks this is down to the wire...If you've been with us from the get go on this horse
race, don't stop now...The candidates will be en fuego...Look for a big bullseye on
Kerry's back tonight...He's the guy to take down...If Dean's gonna get his mojo back,
he's gotta knock the Massachusetts senator off his stride...And with Dean's campaign
rapidly imploding, look for him (along with Clark & Edwards) to be lobbing some
serious grenades..
More from your MSNBC lineup tonight
8:30 pm ET-9 pm/5:30 pm PT: Chris slices and dices with Buchanan and others for a half
hour post debate reax...We're definitely "efforting" some candidates...We'll also talk
to the Palmetto state's newest king maker, Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC), who endorsed Kerry
today...
"I would not call that dancing," Clyburn cracked in his deep baritone, to laughter
from the audience. With a wounded look, Kerry said, "I thought for a white guy I
showed some rhythm."

9 pm ET/6 PT Norville Tonight...She talks to Kerry's kids tonight...It's a cool show,

10 pm ET/7 PT Scarborough Country..."It's not just geographical, it's a state of mine"
-Joe Scaborough 1/27/04
Then we're back live at 11 pm ET/8 pm PT with a full on explosive, "must watch", post
game slice and dice exegetical! Oh, did I already say that? How about "chew & spew"?
Whaddaya you think of that imagery? Hah! Ron Reagan is back by popular demand from
Seattle as well as an in depth look at the candidates' "southern strategy" with Steve
Jarding and "Mudcat" Saunders (The guy who first identified and targeted the NASCAR
dad)...Plus, Katrina and Buchanan will join us as well...
I forgot to put this in yesterday's Briefing...Here's the NY Observer's interpretation
of Tuesday night's coverage:
"No word from Dean, huh?" asked Chris Matthews, host of MSNBC's Hardball at 8:30 p.m.
on Tuesday, Jan. 27. He was off the air, between commercial breaks, sitting in the
makeshift set at a ski lodge in Manchester, N.H.
