The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
Hardball airs tonight at 7, 11 & 4 am ET...Out west that's 4, 8 & 1 am
Did I mention to you that we're on from 7-9 pm ET tomorrow night (Saturday 2/7) for
special Michigan, Washington state primaries & pre-"Meet" and Maine caucus coverage?
We'll have our political panel (Howard, Jacques, Joe & Joe (Scarborough & Trippi),
Peggy, Ron) as well as some special guests and live reports from key battleground
states...Shuster will be stationed in Richmond, VA at the Jefferson-Jackson dinner
where a number of top candidates are scheduled to speak....
Tonight Shuster brings us an exclusive interview with Dick Gephardt who just endorsed
John Kerry today in Michigan...We'll ask him why and what he plans to do to help get
Kerry elected...Actually I'm not quite sure what Shuster asked him, we'll just have to
see tonight!
Today President Bush named 7 of the 9 member commission panel thingy to investigate
problems with the intelligence which lead us to war with Iraq...Plus, this weekend he
does the full hour on Meet the Press...Why now? What's the White House hope to
accomplish? We'll talk to Norah, Dee Dee, Dana Priest of the Post and GOP media
strategist Sheri Annis....
Then we'll do a little panel with Tina Brown (her new season of "Topic A" debuts
Sunday night on CNBC), Danny Goldberg (Dig this, fmr. publicist for Led Zeppelin and
vice president for their Swan Song label...How cool is that?? He's done a helluva lot
of stuff since then but in my mind it doesn't get any better than working for
Zeppelin) and Access Hollywood's Pat O'Brien...We'll follow up on the Janet/Justin
episode and discuss what, if any, public policy measures should be taken to deal with
this sort of lascivious behavior....Is it a public menace to society?
Finally we talk to actress turned activist Kathleen Turner...Remember that great scene
in the movie Body Heat where William Hurt throws the chair through the glass door to
get to her and they (MSNBC censorship stamp here)...You'd do the same thing if you
were locked out of your house and needed to get in to watch Hardball...We'll talk to
Kathleen about her latest political project for Planned Parenthood...
Keep it real for real...Tune in tomorrow at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT
