            The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------

Hardball airs tonight on MSNBC at its regular time: 7 pm ET, 11 pm ET & 4 am ET and
out west at 4 pm PT, 8 pm PT & 1 am PT

Howard Dean drops out but says his cause continues; refuses to endorse....I sensed
Howard might be firing the opening salvo in a Democratic party civil war...What's next
for Dean and the new "two man" Democratic primary?? We'll talk to our man Joe Trippi
(Dean's former manager), Dean congressional supporter Loretta Sanchez and MSNBC Dean
embed reporter Felix Schein...Plus, attention David Shuster Fan Club-Bloomington
Chapter members...Shuster makes his debut....On Set!

Then, back by popular demand...."The Contenders" series rolls on with Pat, Jerry &
Jesse...I speak of none other than Buchanan, Brown & Jackson...They'll regale you with
stories of running for president and the elation of feeling a political surge, winning
a few states and riding that "Big Mo"!

And later, in the segment formerly known as the Political Buzz, we'll kick it
freestyle with Tony & Katrina and Andrew Sullivan (Yeah, I finally persuaded him to
come back on the show)...We'll slice and dice Dean's big day and the political storm
brewing over gay marriage...

And how about our coverage last night? We're the best, aren't we? I flipped around
the channels a bit last night and found the others guys pretty boring and don't have
any personality....Chris and our panel delivered hard news and facts with a serious
dose of fun and personality: What Emeril would call "kickin' it up a notch"...When I
spoke to Chris earlier today I called it "Razzmatazz"...
