            The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------

Hardball airs tonight at 7, 11 & 4 am ET and 4, 8 & 1 am PT

3 big segments we're cooking up for you tonight: Florida, foreign policy and The
Apprentice...Somewhat eclectic I'll grant you but we know you viewers are a
sophisticated lot...Chris and his wife Kathleen are down in Miami this morning picking
up the David Brinkley Award for Excellence in Communication from Barry University so
tonight's show will originate from there...That ties in nicely with our lead
story...Florida is definitely a key "battleground" state and we'll talk to a couple of
members of congress who'll give us the lowdown on what to look for...A new poll out of
the sunshine state puts Kerry at 49% & Bush at 43%. Nader nabs 3%...Shuster will set
up the segment with a Florida retrospective package...

We'll chat with fmr. Clinton national security advisor Sandy Berger on Iraq, Haiti and
some of the other hot spots and issues percolating across the foreign policy landscape

And the interview you've all been waiting for: Omarosa just got fired by The Donald
last Thursday and tonight she faces the "Hardball Boardroom"...Yeah, she's the one you
loved to hate...She broke down and cried in Donald's boardroom...Will she cry tonight
when she faces Chris? We'll ask her about the experience, what she's up to now and her
current read on the political scene...She is a "political consultant" according to the
show and used to work in the Clinton/Gore administration...If you don't watch NBC's
hit reality show, "The Apprentice" you don't get it so don't worry about it...
