------------------------------------------------------
Hardball airs tonight at 7p, 11p & 4a ET at 4p, 8p & 1a PT
Tonight's another big night and one you won't want to miss of course but I've been up
to me knees in lower third banners so I'm late to the Briefing...Lower third banners?
Those cutesy factoids that bring so much editorial enrichment to the segments and
quite frankly, take the segment to the next level...They flash at the bottom of your
screen and someone has to write them...I've been on banner duty all week...
Anywho, we lead with Lisa Meyers and the latest on what the evildoers are up to and
the new spooky Al Qaeda documents...Plus, the FBI just put out a new terrorist warning
saying those rascals may come after our public transportation system this
summer...We'll talk to Lisa and then get some reax and analysis from terrorism expert
Neil Livingstone...
Did you read that NYT front page article about Bush aides withholding Clinton terror
docs? http://nytimes.com/2004/04/02/politics/02PANE.html We'll hash it out with David
Frum (Yeah, the "axis of evil" speechwriter dude) and Clinton impeachment
lawyer/counsel "uberspinmeister" Lanny Davis...And no, Lanny's not "too
impeachment"...Get over it...You'll hear Chris hear use the word "exculpate" which I
find rather classy...
The we introduce you to "Battleground America" and MSNBC's Chris Jansing who takes you
directly to New Mexico, a huge battleground state...What's at stake in the "Land of
Enchantment" this November and what's it all mean for Bush & Kerry?
In the back half of the show, Joe Trippi and BC04 spokesman Tucker Eskew duke it out
over the "politics of the pump" (gas pump that is...We're calling the segment "pumped
up"), the new job figures and David Shuster's package on the air wars which are
heating up...He'll dissect the latest Bush/Kerry ads....
And we wrap up the show with the newest Liberal shock jock, Al Franken...He's got the
new radio network, Air America and new show, "The O'Franken Factor"...Can he compete
with Rush, Drudge and all the other big boys of talk radio?
All this from the comfort of your own living room...What more could you ask for?
Oh and get this...Did you miss the Richard Clarke interview or want to see it again?
Tune in on Saturday 5 pm ET or Sunday at Noon ET
