Tonight on Hardball-- Campbell Brown sits in for Chris this week and begins by
playing Hardball with Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage. He'll talk
about Iraq, Syria and his thoughts on the controversy surrounding Secretary of
Defense Donald Rumsfeld. It's a hot interview you won't want to miss.
Also, Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger, just back from Iraq on the continued Rummy
fallout, and the president meets the press again. We'll talk to Dana Milbank
of the Washington Post, Jim Warren of the Chicago Tribune and Debra Saunders
of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Tomorrow night-- Lynne Cheney from the Vice President's Residence.
We have had a tremendous response to our special from Walter Reed and the
Fisher House on the wounded soldiers and their families. We had the pleasure
of meeting so many amazing, brave people over there, and your support to them
is greatly appreciated over the holiday season. Walter Reed and the Fisher
House appreciated all the donations. Jim Weiskopf at the Fisher Foundation
tells us since Thursday, there have been between 1,200-1,400 people who've
