Hardball airs on MSNBC at 7p, 11p & 4a ET & 4p, 8p & 1a PT Find MSNBC on your
TV http://www.msnbc.com/CableOperator.asp MSNBC also is on your XM satellite
radio on channel 130

If it's Monday it must be "lead with McCain" day and that's what we intend to
do...We'll talk to the man most Beltway clich writers call a "Maverick" about
Iraq, yesterday's election and President Bush's upcoming SOTU (State of the
Union address), which by the way you can see live coverage on MSNBC Wednesday 7
to Midnight ET with Chris doing much of the anchoring...

In the second and third block (B & C) we talk to Norman Schwarzkopf, the
architect of our victory in the Gulf back in '91...We'll get his thoughts on
yesterday's election and the future of the U.S. presence in that region...What
a "get"!

In the back half we'll talk to the man who was Bremer's predecessor in Baghdad,
Jay Garner...He was running the Coalitional Provisional Authority in Iraq
before it even had the name...He was doing reconstruction in Iraq right after
the fall of Baghdad in April '03, to refresh your memory...

In the last couple blocks we drop major gravitas with Thomas Friedman, the
thrice Pulitzer Prize winning columnist from the The New York Times and author
of one of, imho, the best book's on the Middle East "From Beirut to
Jerusalem"...He'll slice and dice what yesterday's vote means for the future of
Iraq...I promise you'll not want to miss his insight and wisdom on the matter...

We'd be honored if you'd join us tonight...
