            The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------

Before you cut out for the weekend to the shore, the woods, the mountains or
your backyard to fire up the grill and pop a couple of brewskis be sure to tune
into Hardball...Heck, you can even wheel the TV out on the backdeck and we'll
join you for the BBQ..

Tonight we'll rehash the action last night in the Senate with Andrea Mitchell
on Bolton and then throw it over to a couple of California members of Congress:
Anna Eshoo (D) & Dan Lungren (R) to kick around some of the big congressional
issues of the week...

will team up Alexandra Pelosi, who has a new book out titled "Sneaking Into
the Flying Circus : How the Media Turn Our Presidential Campaigns into Freak
Shows" to discuss politics and media etc.....Of course she's not talking about
us or herself (she of "Travels with George")...

The controversy at the Air Force Academy about religious prosletyzing will
actually air tonight...I think I mentioned it on Wednesday...Here's the
backgrounder
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20050527/ap_on_re_us/air_force_religion_3
It'll be a hot segment I promise...We'll talk to the principals in involved...

Finally we wrap it up with Michael Deaver, who has edited a new compilation of
essays titled "Why I Am a Reagan Conservative"...Notably absent are several
high profile offerings from the Weekly Standard/AEI crowd. Some say those
Scoop Jackson Democrats hijacked the movement post 9/11...Deaver of course, was
a longtime aide and confidante to President Reagan since his early days in
California politics up until his second term at the White House..

And don't forget Memorial Day...It may be a holiday for the country but we're
sticking around town for a live show (I can just tell you're green with envy,
huh?)...We'll probably grab some Red, Hot & Blue and have our own little BBQ in
the office...We'll honor our nation's military fallen with some cool guests and
segments...Please join us
