            The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------

Day 7 of the 8 days of Hardball rolls on with another parade of stars, a "must
postpone the dinner reservations" kind of show...

We lead with the controversy of PBS and charges of liberal bias with one of the
giants of PBS, Bill Moyers...Moyers will also get in to the current state of
American politics and where the Democratic party is going, he being of the left
persuasion politically...There was some action last night in the House on
reducing the funding for PBS coincidentally, story below...

We bring you the promised Shuster star-studded red carpet report from Wednesday
night's "Rock The Vote" 15th Anniversary gala dinner which promises to be an
exciting palette cleanser for the back half of tonight's show...

Most of you have seen the Darrell Hammond-Saturday Night Live spoof on Chris
and Hardball...Tonight Chris interviews Darrell and gets into how the man
prepares for his impersonations (Clinton & Cheney for example) and his personal
take on our show...

Also, smart-mouthed funny man and perpetually cranky political satirist Bill
Maher was in town this week doing some standup...Chris caught up with him to
check the pulse of the nation and what not...We'll bring that to you in the E
block...

Finally, did you miss Chris on Leno the other night? We'll replay a portion of
the interview to wrap everything up...

On Monday we bring you an exclusive with Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice...

And of course, if the Jacko verdict breaks today, MSNBC & Hardball go
wall-to-wall...

Please join us...As always, if you have a comment about Chris or the show,
please just hit "reply" and fire away...Thanks
