Tonight on Hardball, attacks rage on as the Middle East crisis is now in its 
7th day and the U.S. steps up efforts to evacuate thousands of Americans from 
Lebanon. A leading Iranian lawmaker said today that no part of Israel is safe

As diplomatic efforts continue, Chris will talk with Shimon Peres, former 
Israeli prime minister and current deputy prime minister, about his country's 
plans and whether the conflict can end soon. Chris also will talk with two 
ambassadors to the United Nations, Nouhad Mahmoud of Lebanon and Bashar 
Ja'afari of Syria, about what their countries are doing today to try to end the
